Ahmet Ali Çelikten was the first black pilot in the world. His grandmother hailed from Borno, Nigeria. He became the first black military pilot in aviation history when he started serving during World War One in 1916.

DeleteCorrect person. He is not connected to Nigeria in anyway. Turkish ottoman. The name alone is a compass to Turkey.
DeleteAt least he had a Borno grandma. Not an Okija shrine ancestry. When Borno people were writing books centuries ago, and reading large caravans on the trans Saharan route, the Igbos were still walking naked everywhere.
