The shocking incident, reportedly occurred at St Jacob's Parish Orba, Nsukka.
The woman was said to have waited until the end of the early morning mass before carrying out the act.
The suspect has been arrested and is currently being interrogated to ascertain the reason for her actions

I am not a Catholic. I am a member of Rccg. Yet, I honour Mary. I think of how special she is to God, to have been the woman selected to Cary Christ for 9months,breastfeed him, nurture and train him till he could do anything for himself. She cleaned his bumbum, bathed for him, showed him love. She is great partner of God. A special bride and a mother. All men love their mother, so she must have been very dear to God. Then she went through the pain of loosing him for the sake of humanity. Her heart bled. She would have wished she was the sacrifice for atonement and not her son. Sincerely, do you think God will allow her go to hell? Do you think she will be treated as just anybody in heaven.?Mary is special. And yes, I am sure she can influence her son and God to have mercy on mankind. Which son doesn't listen to the soft words of his mother? I love her and pray she says a special prayer for me today that will transform my life. Amen

DeleteI'm not a Catholic,was born and bred as a staunch Baptist. but there was a time I was broke in school after my dad's burial😳, no money to even go home and I couldn't borrow because I don't like borrowing or putting my burdens on people..
I was invited to St Herbert(Main gate) by a frd who was also broke. We trekked to the church in silence. After the mass, I decided to say a few words to Mary whose statue was by the left side when leaving the church. I said a few words to her(I didn't even kneel down) and trekked back to my hostel..Before I got to my hostel, I got an alert of a huge sum of money from someone I didn't expect to even remember me...First thing I did was to call all my roommates, went to a good buka, chop bellyfull before I nack them wetin happen😅😅😅

People should learn where to draw the line, if u re tired of going to church or probably honouring Mary( as it's the clear case here) then by all means stop.

Though probably the woman is disappointed over something she has being pleading her for. It could be a child...for whatever reason she went this far, I pray that her request is granted just o she know that our Mother Mary is beautiful soul.
It is just a graven image, what do you say about the pictures of yours pastors you carry around, which some kneel too, connect your faith to? Pentecostals are quick to condemn what they consciously or unconsciously do. I am a Pentecostal by the way but I will rather kneel in honour of Mary than kneel before most of these pastors and their wives.
