“With the show, we aim to inform and educate viewers on the importance of active political engagement in building a credible political process and promoting good governance,” said Seun Oluyemi, Senior Producer, Rubbin’ Minds. “Sunday’s episode continues a series of interviews set up to directly engage major players in the Nigerian political space on their thoughts, ideas, policies as it affects the everyday Nigerian.”
Others personalities who have featured in this special series include the Young Progressives Party (YPP) presidential candidate, Professor Kingsley Moghalu; presidential candidate under the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Dr. Obiageli Ezekwesili, and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore.
To further deepen the conversation, Rubbin’ Minds will on 10 February, 2019 hold its deeply engaging Youth Debate with representatives of different political parties presenting their agenda to the Nigerian people and making a case for the election of their candidates.
Rubbin' Minds is produced by Y! TV and ChannelsTV.
