A statement was released to that effect and Franck Passi, Henry’s assistant, will oversee training on Friday morning.
A final decision over his future at the club will be made in due course.
The development comes after Henry banished a number of his first-team players to the reserves, accusing them of being more focused on their own futures rather than the club.
Henry replaced Leonardo Jardim in October in what has been his first job in management. The Arsenal legend signed a deal until June 2021 but has won just two of 12 Ligue 1 games, failing to secure a single win in front of Monaco's own fans.

*Why is a coach to blame if the players dont play well..he isnt their legs is he?
Hnmmm
ReplyDeleteStella, you just re-echoed my thoughts! why must a coach take the fall for the poor performance of the team? Yet you find the club renewing contracts with these same players! A typical example is the Mourinho-ManUtd saga. It's absolutely unfair!
ReplyDeleteThis suspension has succeeded in putting a dent on Hensy's outstanding resume! Such a pity!
For a start, Henry has no resumé has a furst tean coach. Coaches a paid to get the best from players and win games. Once his doesn't happen the coach will should deal with the players before they deal with him.
DeleteSuspended or sacked? Dem dey suspend coach? Abeg make him go find another job osiso. I hope dem go pay am better money as 'thanks for coming' sha. Na Mouriñho sabi deal with all these club.
ReplyDeleteNa wa.... O
ReplyDeletefor the fact that you are once a good player doesn't make you a good football coach.
