When I read stuff about organ transplant, I weep even more for my country. Procedures that are now routine in many countries.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, as this child sick my eyes don see and my eyes are open. If you fall ill and survive in Nigeria, it is pure luck! So many things are wrong.
Common blood products, there are blood products that we do not even have in Nigeria that they used for my son. I doubt our lab technologists even know how to extract them from blood if Even to get platelet sometimes was wahala
Whereas people are doing transplant here like say Na nothing. You’ll just be hearing them talking about liver transplant patient, cornea transplant, this that..and because so many have gotten their lives back, so many people are now donors. They make it an advance directive so they are not left as vegetable to deteriorate and the organs useless...
When will we get there? When will our health sector improve? Hmmm instead we struggle over bringing corpse back to the village and so many other things that do not make sense...
When will our government even upgrade the country? For the average person to be able to get medical care and the medical system to be able to solve issues other than malaria, cough
Eh, it’s painful. Even TB we are still battling. Polio. It’s really sad
