    The water is so clear just as importantly for this particular photo, water is photographed with a highly polarized lens, which removes pretty much all glare and reflection from it.

    That doesn't mean that the water isn't this clear, It is. But it would almost never look that clear in person, unless you have very polarized sunglasses.
