Yesterday i was on the phone with a friend of mine who had suffered loss and as we talked,something that happened many years ago flashed before my eyes and i realised that GOD showed up for me but i didnt see it at that time...
God shows up really quietly,infact so quiet that if we are not listening,we miss it.
Its been years but God showed up for me when i thought he had abandoned me.
Thank you Lord!
God has been faithful to my family and I. We are not there yet but slow and steady, we are getting there.
ReplyDeleteI thank God for my sis. We received great news some days ago. My sis got scholarship to do her masters abroad in 2017, Finally, she came out the best graduating student and got so many other awards with CGPA of 3.94/4.00. Thank u Lord for this.

DeleteCollected one ogbonge HR letter on Thursday. Ran to the Parsonage and was given 2 days dry fast to seal up the annointing. Reverends bathed me with annointing oil and prayers after service.
DeleteJust finished a little celebration with close friends and few relations. Next year will be lit.
Many pointed fingers to say "how many years is her doctorate programme taking?"
Now they will point same fingers up, solely to thank God.

The past three years has not been easy for me with countless miscarriages but am grateful for life.
As at last year I had nothing to my name (financially 0000000) but this year God decided to weep my tears by blessing me beyond my dreams.

DeleteThis year 2018 has been great, I gave birth to my son in April after 5 years of wait, My delivery was smooth, recovery was even better. So many open doors and favours this year. I traveled to "the abroad" for the first time this year..US, UK. Dubai. So many blessings that i cannot count. I give God all the glory for protection, provision, preservation, safety. I'm grateful God.

God did it, my elder brother is a nurse and a lab scientist today, me and the girls are all graduates, working and taking care of mama. God is good.

ReplyDeleteWeeks before i was admitted in the hospital,i had a black out while driving, as in i totally went off for close to a minute. We all know it only take a split second for accident to happen. I almost knocked someone down and in a bid to manuever i almost again ran into a truck carrying mattresses. I would have died in that moment, at that spot but i dint. The car automatically came to a stop on its own abi how e happen sef i no know till today. People gathered and were just looking at me like i was crazy and wanted to commit suicide,some even thought i was having a mental breakdown and rained cusses on me to go and die some where else lol. I sat down in the car close to an hour confused shaking and crying. At that moments i knew i needed to undergo the surgery. I made up my mind, called someone to come pick me up and few days later i was admitted as the symtoms got worse. A surgery was carried out and the fluid drained outta my brain. Today i am alive, stronger and ready to take back my life. I have seen people die from malaria but i dint die even after the great pains i have gone tru. So yes i am grateful to God for life and wish above all things that we live in GOOD HEALTH even if we are broke lol. Amen

ReplyDeleteI had my daughter when I was not married, just finished NySc. The father rejected the pregnancy. My family abandoned me. I suffered humiliation.
Luckily I had job immediately after NySc and soley catered for her.She graduated at 19yrs 1st class, got a good paying job (almost 1m monthly) Yes I mean her salary when converted is almost 1 MIL monthly, and now the coy is sending her to US their head office for 1 year training program. Is God not great????
Am emotional, She turned 22 yrs today. She has achieved so much at her age. She is into investment too. When others are still looking for job, companies are still calling her for job till tomorrow. And she asked me if I can take some time off my job to go to Dubai on a short break with her before she leaves for US later this DEC. Wow, she wants to give me 5 days treat.
Thank you God for answered prayers. When everything fails, God shows up. She has been a source of joy and inspiration to me. Such a good and brilliant child. The other day she said she will buy another car for me. Hmmmmmm ,thank You God.

So what is it with the chronic headache we don't know. Was so serious we had to do a CT scan recently but to God be the Glory there was nothing. This year has been very rough for my family but I know for sure we are ending it victoriously. We will conquer.

I was suppose to share this in church today but due to unforeseen circumstance, i couldn't.
ReplyDeleteFive years ago 10th of December, we lost our dad to the cold hands of death and we thought all hope was lost. Before his death, we never had to depend on anyone to meet our needs as my dad saw to all our needs even to the smallest ones. Life became difficult without him. At a point i was depressed as I thought my dad's connection would help us secure a job but everyone we knew could help turned their backs on us.
I stopped looking forward to December and Christmas because my dad was buried five days to Christmas so we were mourning instead of celebrating.
Today I'm here to thank God that through my dad's death He made me independent and dependent on Him alone, He showed me that the arm of flesh will fail but if i put my trust entirely on Him, He will never fail nor forsake me.
Today i look forward to celebrating this December and more December's because God has turned my story around and given me a victory song and dance. He's turned my mourning into joy and celebration because that which no man can do, God did it in my family to the amazement of all.
To crown it all my mum will be 60 years by 31st of December. I can boldly say my Joy is full. I can't stop loving and believing in God who when i thought He had done too much, He showed mercy and did it again!
Glory be to God in the highest.i bless the name of the Lord for keeping I and my family Alive.

I want to thank God, I was setup by almost all my colleagues around me and I had to resign with barely 24 hours notice from my job sometime last year, I was boxed into a corner and would have ended up being terminated. I realized for the first time, the extent of wickedness that some people are capable of,as even after I resigned, they kept tabs on me physically and spiritually, making sure I didn't secure a new job.
ReplyDeleteAfter over a year with consistent prayers and holding on to God, He blessed me with a job that came with a promotion, I had to move to a smaller town and yet to sort put some issues but I can already see the hand of God in everything that happened. He has thrown off all my stubborn pursuers as they don't even know where to look for me again, I see all their funny numbers calling and just laugh and ignore.
I thank Him in advance for making me an outstanding role model in this new organization as well as blessing me with marriage and children. Don't be discouraged, no matter your circumstances, He is still in the business of doing miracles.

I'm yet to remarry or even find the one and worst still; there are stories that I'm not a woman from my ex and his family.
In all these, I thank God.
I might not be with a man who makes me face the world with all confidence, but I'm testifying that in no distant time; God will bring him my way.
I've been so lonely and depressed but I've found relief in my job.

ReplyDeleteI thank God for healing and wellness. This time last year, I was emotionally broken from a relationship that ended badly. I lost my peace of mind and focus for the entire year 2017. He moved on and married another. However, God allowed me go through all that so I could learn from my mistakes. The greatest thing is it brought me closer to Him. I have grown spiritually. My self-confidence is gradually returning. I have peace and hope in my heart. I am pursuing purpose and God's will for my life. I am doing so much better now. I am extremely grateful to God for His undying love for me. For the comfort He offered me even when I had no one to talk to. For His faithfullness. God is great!

My life have not been an easy one, because I lost my dad so early in life and my dad's family took everything from us. we had to start life all over again from square zero, there's was a time it was so difficult to put roof over our head, my mum went to look for uncompleted building that we will go stay. *clean tears* oh God we suffered but little by little things started changing though we are not there yet but I'm grateful to God for seeing us through. I have so many things to be grateful for.

ReplyDeleteI compare myself to a cat with nine lives, the enemy has tried to stop me many times but in the nick of time, God shows up and silences every storm.
I thank God for wiping away my tears, giving me a reason to smile, making me understand that even when I do good to others and i’m repaid with evil, the one who rewards those that diligently seek him will arise and favor me beyond my imaginations.
I moved abroad to be with my husband a few years ago, I was sorrowful about the relocation for a while because it seemed my life was just stagnant in this abroad and being aware potentials God has deposited in me, it seemed my light was dimming. I was serving in a church where I befriended people, loved people dearly but didn’t know they were killing me spiritually. God opened my eyes, delivered me from their snares, relocated me to another church and started opening doors. 2018 has been fantastic, I got a job, our account balance ported from a thousand to tens of thousands, we bought a home. I was in a fatal accident, vehicle condemned but I came out with no injuries, the paramedics were surprised, my workplace did not even show regard but God kept my life and I promised never to hold bitterness against anyone, I promised to always trust God and remain thankful all the days of my life. Because in the end, Family is everything and God had blessed me with a loving one and kept my life for a purpose.
I am grateful Lord and will forever worship you.
I pray for everyone who is waiting on God for a testimony, those tears will turn to laughter in Jesus Name and 2019 will usher you into bountiful testimonies.
