Saturday In House Gists -TIME WASTERS

Do you know what a time waster means?

People date other people for years only to end up Marrying someone they have only known for a few days or a few months -These kinds of people are called time wasters.

They take all you have to give, wake up one day and walk away without looking back while you are left to 'lick your wounds' and cuss them out...

Ever dated or married a time waster?Time wasters can be Male or Female ..
Have you ever been a time waster in someones life?why did you leave? what was their reaction?did they cuss you?did you regret it?Did you go back to beg?

Was your time ever wasted?

Is there a sign we need to look out for when we are avoiding dating or Marrying time wasters?

I Have been with a time waster before but funny enough,i walked away,I left because my mind told me to run with the little i had left.....Funny but i didnt leave the time waster to Marry someone else,i left so that i could be free to find someone else....Time waster was in the Abroad and already had WIVES and kids and i found out everything months after i left cos he confessed thinking that i left because i found out...LMAO!

Lets gist

    1. Yup I’m currently in this conundrum. Left one year ago only to enter another one. They say you are what you attract but I don’t understand how that is. I am no way shape or form a time waster. I tell you from the get go what it is I want and how serious I am. Guy man will be nodding in agreement that he too is looking for a serious altar bound relationship only to come and be dragging feet after. Let me go, mba! Ok let me stay and work it out, iro ni! So wth are we doing????

  4. Time wasters hmmmmn. Ive had quite a few especially amongst some christain brothers in church. You will see a particular brother flocking around a sister doing everything together. At the end he will bring another sister introduce her as his fiancee. The other sister will be so aggrieved and as a youth leader, im usually called in to calm the sister. Most times the brothers end up justifying their actions by saying they never asked for a relationship with the sister which is 90% true. Thats y i always advice ladies in such situationship to open up and confront the brother to define the relationship to avoid time wasters and stories that touch. I was once in a situationship like that before but i listened to one sermon by one pastor Emmanuel that got rethinking the whole thing and freeing myself.

    May God save us all

    1. You are so right, gosh!!!!
A particular sister in church reported a brother,as it seemed they hung out for 4 months straight, of which during that duration She went to his house constantly, cooked, watch movies and he drops her off at home and all that.
However the truth was this brother already had a babe he was seriously investing on for he was planning to marry her in a few months time.
The brother was called oooo to say his part of the story. He blurted out that he never asked her out so he doesn't really know what he is guilty of. Chaii!!!! the girl could not cry ehn! since then I started looking at that brother with one kain eye like that...smh.

To think the same brother in the lord πŸ˜‚stylishly told us to hang out and I asked him as what?...only for him to say "well guys don't ask girls out anymore they just give signals and the lady just go with the flow". Immediately i ran but i pitied that sister but am sure she learnt a vital lesson.

I've dated one in the past, long story mtcheeeew. Dude still regret till this day that we didn't end up together. I've never wasted anybody's time before, bcos I've got conscience. All the same ama keep shining my two big sexy eyes so that what happened in 1889 will not repeat itself again. Once I see signs of time waster in a guy now I will just ghost him without any explanation. No time to waste time again.😎😎😎

  6. Yes there are many time-wasters especially when it comes to relationships but the thing is, some men found themselves in a flawed relationship hoping peradventure the partner will change before taking it to another level, and often the lady in the said relationship is not flexible or willing to change, such guy won't hesitate to switch to a new found lady who ticked most of his boxes and wife her within a short period of time. Same thing is applicable to ladies...

  7. I dated one for almost 2years. He went as far as going to my family to ask for my hand only to marry another few months later. I only woke up to his pre wedding photos as my friends had called to tell me about it. And it was the sneakers and shirt I bought him that he used to snap photo🀣🀣🀣

Sometimes you never see it coming and they are very good at it. Youd end up chasing the good ones saying you have a relationship. It's good to stay woke.

  9. There was one guy who dated a lady for so many years and later married someone else . This Bros was with the lady a week before his wedding and still deceiving her . It was the lady's friend who attended her own friend's wedding the following week that was surprised to see this Bros as groom .She ran to her friend's house and took her to the reception which was not very far from the lady's house .

Another one dated a former church member for about six years or more only for him to draw back when preparations were on going for introduction. His own family felt bad, the lady I heard almost ran mad

  11. I think I am a time waster. I have this guy, we met, I thought I was in love but he is so spiritual. not like this type of born gain spirituality, I mean how can one say that all that happens has spiritual man I put ion. even having consensual sex, he termed it spiritual manipulation.
well, this past month I have decided to call it quits, he should go and look for sister Nkechi and marry. he is even planning introduction this Christmas. abeg, I can't deal.
imagine, I told him that I see visions, this uncle said that it's the devil that is feeling my head with rubbish. that I should go for deliverance

  12. I was a Chronic time waster..Didn't realise at the time till someone reset my mind.I will try not to sound so "pathetic".

The thing is, I've never been a fan of marriage..I told my mum that I didn't want to marry and we had a long talk (story for another day).

With that mindset I dated people because I liked them and not necessarily because marriage was the focus.I also dated people that I know I can't marry(Tribe/Religion /Fuckboys).So it's safe to say I wasted my time and others😊.

Few years ago I was gisting with someone who was worried that I wasn't in a "serious relationship" and she said I needed to change my mindset and I was like,"oh you date to get married? I honestly didn't know."🀷‍♀️

Sometimes I wonder if I cursed myself cos I always say it loud to anyone that cares to know that I'm not interested in marriage but always hear rebukes and long sermon.

The few people I wasted their time are happily married and I'm happy for them. That's not to say my time hasn't been wasted after having that mind reset but I wasn't shook at all cos I guess I just did it for peoples sake.(Let's just say I have always been the first to walk away).

Someone else once told me that I wasn't interested in marriage becos I was having premarital s8x.hmmmm,I then decided that I will do it the right way by getting married so that I can have legal "s8x"πŸ™ˆ.

The Bible's standard is that "If you must be single then abstain from sex but instead of you to burn with desire pls Marry".My last relationship of almost a year was no s8x based and it was refreshing.

It's not easy to taste that stuff and stop but I thank God for his mercy and Grace.

Not saying s8x is the only sin ooo but Gods standard remains sure.

  14. I don't know if I can marry the dude I'm dating at present. Am I a time waster?

I had been off relationships for about four years until I accepted to date him.

I did partly cos I like him and also because I felt it was high time I had a man in my life.

I needed someone to meet my sexial expectations and he's been doing that.

He isn't ready to get married yet and the few times he brought up marriage talks; I told him we both weren't ready, financially and otherwise.

Abeg , am I a time waster? If I meet someone better, amma port oo mbok.

I never made any promise and he never asked me to

    1. Yes you are. Date someone you can marry. It's unfair to waste any bodies time. Within the first few weeks we already know what we want with a person. Why not be straight with them so they know where they stand and look some where else for what they want.

  15. Yes ooo. It happened to me long long time ago.
This guy moved into my apartment which was far more comfortable than his. I was so in love and his friends kept urging me on claiming he was a nice and genuine guy who suddenly fell on bad times.

I kept on and he exploited me for over 2 years before my eye opened. Drove my car, ate my food, had Chukuchuku every night, begged and collected money every now and then. I even used to buy him some stuff. Introduced him to top Shots for contract.

Suddenly I decided to do some investigation on him. I discovered his surname which rings a bell in Lagos and Nigeria did not translate to affluence. Was just adopted into the family. I also found out he was using his place to attend to other girls while habinating with me and scaring other guys away from me.
He was such a smooth operator. When I found out he came for my money, I threw his stuff out of my apartment. I aborted his pregnancy he was begging me to keep. His friend,a top notch, later opened up to me that he was keeping another lady in another city. I cried out my eyes knowing how much I had invested in him. He got married to the said lady 3months after I threw him out.
Till last year they have no child-10 years now. I dont know if they are still together.

Mehnnnn that guy wasted my time. Ruined the relationship I had cos he warned the guy and was fond of picking my calls. Thank God I met someone else immediately he left and got married. Even then, anytime he bumped into me in social gathering he will be all over me and I will just disappear. It was a lesson learned.

There are so many of them around. This is someone that will tell City people editor, Seyi to write about him marrying a big girl. And City people kept bringing up our names in their gossip column as his surname was supposed to open doors. But I never saw any opened door. Infact,Some guys I knew in City People told me to be careful with him. That he told them he wants me to finance his upcoming project. Hmmmmmmmmmmm. I ran no looking back
    Broke ass feigning big boy!

  16. I dated a time waster for one good year. Fool had a kid and a baby mama who lived with him. I had no idea. He would ghost for two weeks and comeback begging profusely that work bla busy bla, I will forgive only for the cycle to repeat itself. Planned stuff canceled last minute and dead silence for days or weeks. I tried to get away but I kept hearing everything will be ok, baby don't give up on me, I'm working on myself but all the while he was living with his family. Jeez. When I dug deep and found out , I confronted him and he denied completely, until I showed him pics and then it became a long story. He was still begging when I found out that he had another baby with his baby mother. Haaaa.
I was like , are you possessed??
Thank God it ended with my sanity intact, I can't imagine. The unreturned calls and texts, sometimes he would be online and ignore messages. Only to come back and claim rubbish. Lies lies lies lies.
Only for one fool I met in June to start his own last month, he ghosted the first weekend and then claimed he was upset about something I did. I warned him, then he did it again, I sent him a stinker and moved on...

I also think I'm wasting someone's time, that one started dating me in his mind three years ago and now we are engaged in his mind too. This one is not even my fault cos I have tried all subtle means but he is just hellbent in playing out whatever fantasy so I have to be harsh for him to realise but I'm still working out the heart.
This thing called love is hard o.

  17. I dated one. He was always dragging his feet, always postponing events we had to go together. I end up attending alone or not going. All he does was his office to the house. Even to catch some movies together, he'll chicken out at the last minute. His mind was never made up about anything, I needed no soothsayer to tell me he's undecided about settling down.

Then he started telling lies & cheating. I dumped him.! He didn't believe I could walk away. He begged & begged but my mind was made up.

In revenge, he swore he'll make sure he gets married before me & before this year ends. Who cares?? πŸ’

Less than 3months after I called it quits, he changed his WhatsApp dp to his badly shot pre-wedding pictures. (This was someone who always told me he doesn't want the senrere of pre-wedding pictures or unnecessary things & I always disagreed).
He just wanted me to see his DP & I blocked him afterwards.

    Good riddiance to bad rubbish!

  21. My friend thought she was in a relationship with a time waster. I tried to warn her but she didn't listen. The guy didn't ask her out but kept coming around everyday for months. Every time then, they were always on video call. My friend started Catching Feelings. She would call him many times in a day. Begging the guy for video calls so as to see his face and telling him she missed him.Meanwhile guyman has not made his intentions known. He took her to expensive places every other weekend and bought her things few times and she got carried away. I told her one time to stop making herself so available until the guy defines what he wants with her but she nearly warned me. She stopped seeing other guys because the guy was all over her, dropping her off to work in the morning and picking her after close of work and also taking her out during the weekend. After a while the guy man started withdrawing, calls started reducing, outings reduced and finally communication ended. Thing is she can't confront the guy because he never officially asked her out.

  23. You have to agree. Define what you want from the word go, ask as many questions as you can. Don't just sit and assume. Anyone that says lets see how it goes is potential time waster or says go with the flow, biko run. And even when things are defined open your eyes and read all the red flags you see. If your guts says something aint right then it aint right

  26. I dated a lady for years. I spelled it out that I will never marry her but will give her anything she wants. She will not let go.
When I finally broke it off to give her the chance to meet someone else, she thinks that I am the devil. Why I couldn't marry her: Uncontrollable weight gain and she wasn't putting any effort to lose weight, horrendous grammar (mix R with L) and very sticky. I guess she felt that I wasted her time. My conscience is clear since I made my concerns known to her at inception.

  27. My husband is a time waster! I regret marrying him, but I’m grateful for my children. Man that said don’t work, please take care of the children has turned to his family as financial advisers and business partners, keeps documents of all his investments with siblings and does not put my interest or that of the children first. This man chases child minders away and has insisted his children will never be looked after by outsiders. I have decided to focus on the kids getting to secondary school (we live abroad) then I will start my own life and I won’t look back. I hate the father of my children so much, he looks after his own extended family but has refused to help me provide for my aged parents. I hope God rewards him and the universe repays him back, full measure

  29. The solution to time wasters or deceivers & agents of spiritual manipulations through "love" relationship: is not to drop off any effort by u to either go to school, or invest in a good career or be also busy to upgrade ur personal life while "dating" them or even married to such a wicked character. So in that way, u still be ok at the end of the day in ur life!!!
Really the desperation or hurting is worst if u as a woman have nothing & no means of a good life when u r old whether single or married or divorced or widowed woman!!! MARRIAGE IS NO GUARANTEES FOR OLD AGE SECURITY OR SAFETY NET FOR EVERY WOMAN!!! THE BEST U CAN DO FOR URSELF IS TO FOCUS ON UR BEST INTEREST WHEN U R YOUNG.
THEN IN THAT WAY U WILL LEVEL UP OR BE AHEAD OF THE SO CALLED MEN U DID NOT MARRY.
I'M 1 SUCH WOMAN TODAY LIKE THAT. NOW I LOOK DOWN ON MEN & SPIT ON THEM BECAUSE MY LIFE, HEALTH, INCOME, OPPORTUNITIES & MANY BIG DAILY BLESSINGS TODAY ARE THINGS THAT NO MAN/ HUMAN BEING THAT I KNOW BEFORE COULD HAVE DONE FOR ME OR GIVE ME IN MARRIAGE.
    Only God is in control!!!
