I took an elective course with him during my days in Uniben and that man plays a significant role in my life....The days i was too broke to find food,i would go to his office and sit down and read....he never harassed me for anything and was a source of strength for me...He even used to give me money that i would use to find food..he didn't know my situation then and it looked like i was just obtaining him but he was a life saver....
I remember almost failing his course cos i took him for granted and assumed I would pass..lol...Nobody told me before i borrowed myself brain and started reading....
We talk every now and then and yesterday he sent me a Merry Christmas and i called him back...This man is a Blog visitor and reads every comment and every post, when he is less busy...We had a good laugh yesterday and he said he liked how we are interactive here.told me how proud he is of me (that most of my old lecturers are) and i reminded him ''Sir but i Left with a third'' and he said most people who left with a first are nothing compared to what and who i have become!!...Nah God ooooooooooh...
Which of your Lecturer made your stay worth it in the University? The one you looked up to like Father or Mother and who played that role until you left?

He was my lecturer when I was running my masters program there, funny enough lots of my course mates were scared of him oh but I didn't have any issue with him. He related with me maturity and fairly. He was a nice and very disciplined man, you need to get close to him to know this. Sir if you get to see this, I was the class rep of MIHD, that tall shakara girl. Please give my regards to professor Otiode, professor Osadolor and professor Ifidon. One of these days I will come and see you all in a big way. I have not forgotten any of you. Greatest uniben student

I remember I needed to buy something then that I couldn't afford, he helped out. I am forever grateful for those times he bailed me out. Even my mum came to know him.
Oh and this man would work till late with us (project work) and will still take his time to drop us in our various hostels, before going home to his family. He is that selfless. My God will continue to bless him.

Mr Aguwamba Banking & Finance Dept, Igbinedion University. That man is the epitome of grace and class. Funny, approachable and kind. The best lecturer in my stay in okada, was also my project supervisor. Assisted in ways too numerous to mention. Always giving advice and life experiences to shape and mold our then fragile naive young minds. It's been 10 years now and I promised him I was going to buy him a house in Benin when Im able to. DeleteModella oooo 😂😂😂 my chest. Who did this to you? Are u still in uniben?
DeleteMine is Prof. Abimbola Uzoma of Food Science dept of FUTO. I only loved her way of lecturing and how she carries herself aithough i recently discovered she's a snub. I also loved Former Miss Linda Akajiaku, Ojukwu Moses and Dr. Ogueke of the same department. I was not personally close to any of them because of my introvert nature but they impacted on me

Ah... You sabi them well well. Dr Frank is just a disgrace to uniben lecturers. Even prof osadolor. Them like women pass their job sef. I never liked Mr osarirmen. Short man devil. I love miss uzebu the Shankara woman. Mrs kalu was too serious. Miss Oriakhi hmm always shouting like a she goat on heat period. Dr nwokocha was another case. But I like him anyway. Very funny man. DeleteProf Temi Akporhonor, my departmental father and Dr Maxwell, These are the great mean behind my book work. Delta state university, abraka.
ReplyDeleteDr Mrs Enabulele. That woman is a goal! brain and beauty. Prof Ikenebome and a few of them. The evil ones in MCB dept got served. No evil eyes ever saw me in that UniBen. I made sure I read very well. I never stepped my feet into any lecturers office for anything besides project and course advisors matter. In all about three times. Faithful GOD. What I scaled thru in BSC na im UNIZIK wan try me! I showed them shege. UNIZIK is a piece of cake, unserious set of people. Everything they want to monetise. They run the university like a business centre. Their exams are so cheap yet them dey find who go pay to pass God help that school. It's so sad. I'm just using side eyes to look at them lectures and students. When I see the students I comment my reserve.
