Amina has repeatedly denied being a fraudster but says she is a business partner to top associates of the First Lady with whom they do government deals together.
Despite the fact that there was no hard core evidence against her,she was forcefully paraded with her face displayed...If you watch the video, you would hear her crying and shouting and the Security operatives tearing at her scarfs to reveal her face.....
In Nigeria people are paraded before they are even convicted or found guilty...what is your take on this?
Well I don't like the way she was being forcefully dragged by her shawl but i think they are into shady dealings .
ReplyDeleteThat journalist or woman that pulled off her scarf from her face should be sued heavily. That's an infringement on her fundamental human right. In a competent court of law an accused person is assumed innocent until proven otherwise. I was mad and furious when I watched that video on Tvc this morning. Thank God one reasonable human right advocate is taking up the case against that woman that pulled her scarf off. By the time she's sued and she pay heavily,it would serv as a note of warning to other Nigerians that love jungle justice.
ReplyDeleteI'm out.
IT was clearly wrong to pull her scarf off however suing the person that pulled it may not result in anything i'm afraid... The person may not have any money in savings to part with.
DeleteA jail sentence of one week in Kirikiri should do the trick
I would rather discuss imposter Jibril
DeleteAll those journalists should be sued. Whether she's guilty or now. What they did to her was pure harassment, nothing more, nothing less
ReplyDeleteMy dear stella,
ReplyDeleteHuman right works both ways too if u really do understand rights & respondibilities issues well enough.
The police or authorities have a duty / responsibility to warn or alert the public for safety. And also the police or authorities have a duty / responsibility to deal with crime, prevent crime, stop crime & punish criminals!
By so doing, the police were just doing their job too.
Shikena!
