Come on people! It's better to exercise caution than to be sorry. I have two kids,a boy and a girl. I have a teenage nephew and a teenage help who stay with me. ReplyDeleteI asked as I picked up the phone. I had just checked on my daughter at her creche and was headed to tell market to make enquiries. This was yesterday, at around 10am. Some minutes earlier, I had posted comments on the blog cussing my enemies. I was in a bad mood but brightened up as my business line rang.
"Hi good morning. Is this Castle Windsor of SDK?", a sweet female voice asked on the other end.
"Yes, it's Windsor. How may I be of service?"
"I saw your advert for kpomo and I need two packs delivered to me today. My location is Durumi".
"I have just one pack left. Text me your address and I'll deliver it before midday if it's okay by you.
"I needed two but it's ok".
Market enquiries postponed, I was in Durumi an hour later and after a few minutes at my customer's gate, she received me with a very warm smile and asked me to come in.
I walked in with her. It was a beautiful duplex but she told me her apartment was at the BQ. As we passed the main house, I saw a cage ,and in it, a fierce looking bulldog. It barked furiously as we passed by and I gasped in fear.
"Are you scared?"
"Yes I am. I don't like dogs and they don't like me".
"Oh don't worry. Murphy's a sweetheart".
We got to her doorstep. What was I doing at her doorstep anyway? Normally, I deliver my goods and get paid at the gate except on few occasions. But she was friendly and invited me in so why not? I still had an hour for leisure.
What happened next shocked me.
As we got into her well furnished apartment, she locked the door, walked towards her dining room and called out,
"Babes, she's here".
Two tall good looking ladies appeared from the bedroom. I was still standing. The one who brought me in had sat down. One of the tall ladies walked up to me and sized me up.
"Our six footer. You really are as tall as you said. Even taller than me. Well, let me introduce myself. I'm BV Medussa. Ring a bell? These are my friends BVs 'Anon that keeps the blog sane' and 'Anon castle is greedy'. You insulted both of them this morning".
I regarded them with a nod. 'Anon that keeps the blog sane' was the one who brought me in, 'Anon castle is greedy' was the other tall one.
I knew I was in trouble. These ladies were ready for a fight cos they obviously were mad at me. The one who some moments ago had received me warmly, had a huge scowl on her face. It was hard to believe she ever smiled.

DeleteSorry guys, motion sickness is quite common but I've acquired some helpful tips that work for me. First, lay off big meals,oily snacks and caffeine before traveling. Instead get stuff like crackers and drinks like ginger ale or sprite. Try to get fresh air-like keep the windows open from time to time. don't overheat yourself. Reading makes it worse,so get your earphones and listen to music instead. Then there's a delightful over the counter drug called "avomine" taken at least 30 minutes before traveling that settles you nicely. It makes you drowsy for a while and wala! When you're awake,you're back to yourself and you get to enjoy your trip. Hope this helps. Cheers!

I couldn't sleep last night. I am 5 days late and I am so worried. God pls I want more children but not now. My baby is not even up to 8months. I talked to hubby about family planning and he is scared of complications. And we have been using withdrawal method.... I have not even fully recovered from having my first baby.i am just weak and extremely sad.

DeleteI got pregnant when my baby was 6months. I didn't want to keep the pregnancy but thank God I didn't terminate it. Today, I have two sons within two years who look like twins. The pregnancy was easy too. My cutes boys are the best gift that God gave me. They are 5&6years now. Funny I have not been able to conceive again after that. Imagine if I had aborted the second pregnancy. Pls if you are pregnant keep it, God will see you through it safety. It's is well.

"All your stories, you always sounded sweet and all. You never cursed or use foul language. I guess you've been pretending to be a good person, meanwhile you're very terrible".
"That's because the people I meet in real life are not as vicious as you".
"Medusa, what's all these rubbish? Why are you chatting with this silly girl? Let's treat her fuck up nau" 'Anon castle is greedy interrupted our dialogue.
"Babe calm down. I'm just stalling. Let's wait for 'Anon castle is a shameless baby mama' to arrive. She's on her way".
Oh there's going to be a fourth one. My heart skipped a beat. Maybe she's at the mechanic workshop getting acid. I didn't know what the ladies had in stock for me but I sure knew I'd leave that house deformed, disfigured or delifed (dead).
But I was calm. I sat legs crossed.

Just then, there was a knock on the door. Anon castle is greedy went to open the door. She's good at it, I guess. A minute later, she walked in with another girl. I was backing the door but turned to see who my supposed-to-be fourth enemy was.
Our eyes met and she screamed,
"Windsor!"
"Diane!" I screamed back in shock. We hugged affectionately.
Diane was my best friend in the university. We were more like sisters but lost contact after we graduated and she got posted to Zaria for NYSC.
"You two know each other?" Medusa asked.
"Hell yeah! She's the crazy funny bestie I always told you about. The one who always kept me awake with gists. The one who always played pranks and loved head of fish. I miss you girl!" She hugged me once more.
"What brought you to my friend's house?" She asked as we disentangled.
Medusa stepped in between us.

How can I make one of my twin daughters stop playing roughly in her class? She is three and sometimes she comes home with a bruised face or swollen eye because she's either climbing the chair or window in her class. Even in the house she does the same thing. The food in the house that she refused to eat is what she'll collect from her classmates. I've spanked, threatened and denied her certain things but it's not working. Her twin on the other hand is so reserved and doesn't cause me stress.
