Togolese Cook Who Hacked Boss To Death Has Been Declared Wanted

The homicide division of the Nigeria Police Force, Lagos Command, has declared the young Togolese who allegedly stabbed Chief Ope Bademosi to death, on Wednesday, wanted.

Chief Ope Bademosi, a socialite, and Chairman of Credit Switch Technology, reportedly employed the young man as his cook on Sunday.

Bademosi was killed in the early hours of Wednesday, at his residence in Ikoyi, Lagos. He was reportedly found in a pool of blood, with multiple stab wounds.

“When we got inside, we saw the man in a pool of blood with the volume of music increased to the highest level,” a neighbour said.

In an interview with a homicide investigation officer, a source said:

“This is very wicked. In fact, that guy must be a devil itself. He stabbed the man in multiple places. I was the first to enter the apartment.

In fact, the music was so loud that even if you were to be killing 20 people here, no one would hear them scream. After committing the act, the guy went to the toilet and pulled off the white uniform meant for cooks he was wearing because it was all stained with blood.

He also left the knife he used inside the toilet there. If you see the knife, it’s a very strong, long and sharp knife that could only be authorised for military personnel.

Afterward, he ransacked the whole apartment and carted away all valuables he could lay his hands on including an unaccountable sum of money, jewelries and the deceased phone.

What baffles us more is that, no one seems to know anything about him because he was only employed few days ago and brought from Ondo state to resume just this last Sunday. And they only know him by his first name, which is Sunday.”

  1. I think he came solely for this purpose. I can't wrap my hands around such brutality and wickedness. The consultant that hired him for the deceased family should be arrested immediately.

  7. So many evils. So many questions on my mind. Who opened the gate for the wife when she was leaving? How come all the employees are new? Is there any background check on them. Who recommended them.why did the security run away. Isn't there CCTV in the house?.
There's more to this story. Even the rich are being killed, what then is the hope of the poor. We need to be security conscious and alert.
    Rip to the dead.

Why not just tie up the man, steal and run away.
A man that has worked hard all his life. Killed in such a grotesque manner just for valuables. RIP

  21. Strange. Was the boss also Togolese? How did the boss meet him to transport him to a different place just to cook. I don't think it would be hard to find ppl to cook in Lagos. There is something off about this story, not sure what it is, but something is not adding up. Rip to the deceased and I hope the culprit is caught so the family can have closure.

At least if it were a Nigerian, na to go him village begin find am but a Togolese? Where will they start from? Do not live alone with these people in a house. too sad. Rest on Chief.
