Hmmmmm Yesterday it just occurred to me that we need to discuss career options with our kids...especially those who live in Nigeria.....It is after NYSC that you will discover that you cannot get a job with the degree you earned in Nigeria....If the person studied Zoology in the Uni,what kind of Job would the degree get you after NYSC?
Na wah!!!....So many Jobless graduates out there and it is only God that will save them.

ReplyDeleteI joined a WhatsApp group last year(don't wanna mention the name, before they will decode me).. I met a lot of people and we became friends and all that... There's this particular girl that loves me and I love her too, we gist and talk everyday (she's not from Nigeria) we became close...
The admin of the group likes her and she told me about it and I told her to be careful oo! This guy is from the Western part of Nigeria.... He kept pestering her and even left the group because the girl refused to date him (scam)
This guy came to me and begged me to talk with my friend, cause he knows we are very close and I asked him if he's really in love and he said he will do anything to prove his love.. And I spoke with the girl to consider him (biggest mistake ever)
She came to Nigeria around September, for a business transaction ( the babe is loaded na) and the guy went to her hotel and they both called me on Whatsapp video call..

Our brains can't even rightly process the fact that we are being illogical, by giving up so much for a feeling that is not certain it will be requited proportionately. We just want the joy that comes with being in love not to ever end.
The novel looks at marriage and relationships from a feminist' view point which is understandable. However, I do not think the book has a realistic ending. No man who is jilted on the eve of his wedding is mature and courteous enough not to fly into a rage and still remain friends with his ex.
You should read it.
For others who are in relationships and wondering whether to hold on or move on, Steve Harvey's 'Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man' will help. I got a few insights myself into why men do the things they do and why we find it hard to understand them. A great book that I can read over and over without getting bored.

IPOB members went to the area command at Nnewi yesterday on two Toyota buses and told the police to arrest them all in exchange of those people initially arrested, that they are innocent but the police shut their gate while some of them on duty ran away. They drove to another command and do the same in exchange of those innocent guys but to no avail. They drove away.

I would try to keep products total below 20k, cos I know that some people earn 50k and below, and it does not make sense to spend more than 10k per month on make up per month.
if used well, make up products can last 3 months (asides foundation and powder)
1. After bathing and mositurizing your face, spray Niya makeup primer spray on your face-3,000 naira
2. Allow to dry and apply ponds oil control primer- 2,500 for 50ml
3.Apply zikel Ultra matter HD foundation (2,500) or flawlessivy HD foundation (3,000)
4. If you have oily skin, set oily areas and undereye area with topface translucent setting powdwer (3,500)
5. Set whole face again with Blk Opl( the new black opal) matter finishing foundation powder- 3,000
6. Draw your brows with davis no 18 eyepencil (100 naira) and apply Milani Concealer (No 2) under brows, and blend all over eye lids and crease . This concealer can last up to year and very good for defining brows. 3,100
7.Set eyebrow and lid area with topface setting translucent powder mentioned above
8. Apply a dark brown eyeshadow as contour below cheekbones, or use LA pride, zikel or any another cheap contour pallet- 2,000
9. Apply blush if you want, or skip and apply jordana highlighter-1,500
10 Use contour powder on your pallete to define your eye crease area(avoid getting the contour powder on your lids or browbone), leave the eyelids bare with just concealer and setting powder earlier applied in step 7 above
11. Use FBI or any generic black liquid liner to line your eyes (500), Use a black eyepencil to line your lower waterline(100 naira) Apply Ushas or FBI mascara (1000)
12. Line lips with brown or dark red davis eyepencil, use a nude jordana matte lipstick or classic nude lipstick with lipbalm (1,000)
13.Apply clear aboki lipgloss if you want glossy lips or leave dry if you want matte lips .
Total = 19,600
You can wear this look from 8-5pm without retouching your makeup.
