Killer Of Abia Pastor Says Pasotr Failed On His Promise To Support Him After He Helped His Congregation Grow...

What did i just read?What!!!

The Abia state police has arrested the alleged killer of Blessing Kelechi, Pastor and Founder of Winds of Glory Church, Ohokobe, Umuahia, and two of his members; Ambassador Kalu Ikeagwu, the assistant pastor of the church and Ruth Andrew, the Woman Leader of the church.

Parading the suspect, 27-year-old Prosper Peter, the state police commissioner, Anthony Ogbizi, named him as the principal suspect in the ugly incident which happened three weeks ago. The wife of the suspect, Precious, was also paraded by the police as items reportedly carted away from the slain pastor’s house were found in her residence.

In an interview with journalists, the suspect who described himself as an evangelist, admitted leading some boys to the pastor’s house but denied killing him, the Police commissioner insisted that he had admitted killing the pastor. According to the Police boss, the suspect decided to kill Pastor Blessing Kelechi, whom he described as a long time friend as they went to the same secondary school because he refused to help him after he [the suspect] had helped his church to grow. He said the late pastor complained to him that his ministry was not doing well and pleaded with him to help him out, saying that he took him to a place in Ikare, Ondo State, where after the visit, his church started pulling a large crowd and the pastor became popular and rich. He also lent the pastor N200,000 to assist his friend’s church to grow. The pastor promised that he would not lack if the church became successful. He lamented that when the church was eventually embraced by a large number of people and his friend started doing well he began to avoid him.
Prosper said the pastor told their mutual friends and people close to them that he (the suspect) knew the secret of the success of his ministry and that he would not want to have anything to do with the suspect again else he would expose the secret behind the success of the ministry. Prosper said he became infuriated when he had a financial problem, and called his friend the pastor, for assistance but the pastor warned him not to call his number again.

Prosper's wife, when interrogated, said she runs a drug shop,According to her, though she is married to the suspect but she has separated from him as a result of domestic violence.she added that she has been staying alone catering for their three children.
She said the suspect came to her shop recently with some properties and a car and told her that God has blessed his evangelism work and that he has made some success. Though she was reluctant to accept the man and the properties but for persuasions from neighbours who urged her to receive the items as they were from her husband.

Recovered from the suspect were the slain pastor’s phone, his electronic gadgets, his car, a pair of shoes said to belong to the slain assistant pastor.

  5. Church business is now a booming business.
See friendship,I wonder why so many Nigerians have this self entitlement thing. I have a friend that i have been assisting financially for a while now,but I noticed the person is getting too comfortable. I have sent this girl over 100k becos she is jobless. Still sent her 10k last month. I now put a stop to it recently becos I saw she isnt making effort to improve herself. So I refused another help this month. And this friend stopped talking to me and told a mutual friend I am wicked. That upon how much salary I collect. Some friends are dangerous.

    1. Exactly... A suspect can always cook up a story but that doesn't mean things like that doesn't happen. But I smell lies here, if the suspect claimed he has an unfulfilled agreement with the pastor then why kill others as well? Did they also have agreement with him? Oh if only the dead can speak one more time...

    2. My headache is you claimed you took the pastor somewhere in Ondo State to help his ministry so why didnt you go there to help yourself instead of killing him? Abi the baba don die ?? Can your own destiny not be helped?

  10. Oh God have mercy.

That man is not a pastor please. Remember they took him to a place where his church started growing.

The victims and the suspect were not pastors, they have sold their lives to the devil.

  13. The pastor is selfish, he should have settled his friend after his church grew and cut all ties with him than being selfish and started avoiding him. I do not blame the killers at all, God has finally exposed them.

End time pastor, killer and wife killer.

This one is an arm robber making excuses. See how wrecked he looks. Maybe Pastor got tired of helping a lazy school mate.

  19. The both of them were renewing their sacrifices every year, but because it was renewed this year, the killer started having financial challenges. When he asked the victim to assist him and for the renewal,he cut off from him.Prosper got angry cos the victim always displayed he get money.
So that night he made a video in a hotel...around 12am,came back very late and was already ambushed. They followed them inside and because assisstant pastor knew him,had to murder him too so he wont be traced.
The car got him into trouble cos he took it to a mechanic village for them to change some things so he could drive it to Aba but the police got a tip-off and the mechanic was arrested.
The killer called the mechanic man to inquire about the car repairs and he was told he was retained. He now traveled to the police station,he identified the killer and was arrested.
95% pastors are damn FAKE and SCAMMERS.The victim went for a higher power and so had to shun the renewable own but his head went.
What shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul...all is vanity

  20. People should learn to have mind of their own. The wife will now surfer for crime she didn't commit because she listened to 'neighbours'. Same people that will use the incidence to abuse her.

As for the man, I don't believe one bit. If he could take a person to where a charm would bring more church members and money, he would have done one for himself. He was envious or armed robber.

  21. Let me explain something to you guys when people started making it, they naturally leave some people behind be it friends or relatives whom they were very close to prior to their success. No big deal, this friend might have helped the said pastor in the past and has a sense of entitlement. He couldn't deal with the fact that his friend whom they grow together is probably leaving him behind when he became successful ,hence the need to punish him by taking his life. The other people who died with the pastor were just victims of circumstance, they met them when they came to kill the pastor and they probably saw their faces and recognized them. I have been left behind by so many friends too including the ones I helped no big deal because I believe my time will still come too by the grace of God. This is the height of vindictiveness may God help us. Note that someone that can go to the extent of killing his child hood friend over frivolities has no qualms in lying. If you think outside the box, it is obvious that the guy is lying about the Ikare stuff, he just cooked up a story he felt the public will buy cos of the constant criticisms pastors have received of recent

    1. Yes you might be right about when people start making money and naturally leave some people behind but not in all cases. I for example, having lost my parents at a young age, i didn't have anybody guiding me at all, could you believe i came to Lagos 3yrs after youth service and my relocating to Lagos was like i travelled abroad to my relatives. It was when i came to Lagos i realised i have been living in fear and no family member cared to guide me, i haven't made it yet but, why won't i cut them off? So some people leave others behind cause of same reason with mine, if you don't wish me well, why come close to me?
