It was gathered that the protest is over the alleged seizure of a primary school in Onitsha by their Catholic counterpart which the Anglicans claim belonged to them.
It was also gathered that the church was accusing Governor Willie Obiano, who is a Catholic of aiding his church in the seizure of the property which belonged to them.
From Daily Post
Governor Obiano please do the needful. I love their 'sitting down' protest. @Giveaway Princess

ReplyDeleteThis is similar to what Obi did during his tenure as governor of Anambra state. He upgraded almost all the Catholic schools in Anambra state, built new classrooms, with modern computer equipments and Innoson buses but ignored the schools onwned and managed by Anglican Church.
