It is true what I saw on a post..."some fathers break their daughters even before a man would". way back in primary school, cos my poor mom worked in a hospital, my father would ask me to go and call auntie koki or auntie kiki. and they would go inside our room and papa would lock us kids out. kept happening but I really never understood what was going on. fast forward, he would even bring one that he had in the village to come under the guise that she was related to us and needed medical attention- and our house was a hospital? Took his accosting my best friend for me to understand my papa was best know by a term we brandish now- community "service" prick. he took away my tender naivety, my dignity, my self esteem. Cos I was abused in my primary one those days in ilupeju, adeyinka street, by one "uncle", again and again in my uncle's house, the realization that my father was no different from the men that abused my infancy and childhood shredded me and has marred my life, my marriage, my attitude- I has this fundermental belief that there's something wrong about me that brought the rapes on me. I have three kids,I am a woman, a mother whose body is still trapped in the mind of the 7yrs old girl that was first abused by a family uncle. I still have nightmares. I can still feel that awful breath from that man. I can still feel his calloused hands clawing at my pant, ripping it... I am haven't healed. And sad truth is I don't know if I can. How can when one portion of ur mind filed away that clip, and plays it for you at nights. how can u recover when u still see the smirks on those faces, smug in the knowledge that the hold u captive, even after damaging ur psychic? how can u when no justice was served or closure attained.Oh God, I am so so agonized.
