I know someone who is a very good friend of this guy, he said the guy is weird, like really weird, sometimes he wants to be left alone, sometimes he doesn’t want to talk to anyone, even the way he talks is off. It may not have crashed but I always thought his wife was way above his league.

DeleteMarriage needs much more than love. Many ppl go in with expectations of what a wife and husband should be and are shocked at the reality of what they find. They think as long as they love each other everything will be alright. They forget they will need lots of patience, trust, forgiveness, respect, a listening ear, humility, willingness to improve their flaws and a whole host of other qualities. Marriage is not for everyone and we need to start accepting that. Even the Bible states that it is better to remain unmarried if you can handle it.
ReplyDeleteJust because a couple has never divorced does not mean the marry was successful or fulfilling. There are many unsuccessful marriages where the couple has chosen to remain married for whatever reason. Likewise a marriage resulting in a divorce cannot be automatically deemed a failure.
Some people are built for marriage, some can only endure for a few yrs... like u said its not for evryone! I agree. However i dont agree divorce isnt seen as failure, ofcourse the institution of marriage coming to an end is failure! what u should say is it doesnt translate to the individuals incompetence.

In their case I don't feel that. I honestly feel that true love was there, but it just wasn't enough for them. Perhaps it was wrong timing, mental and spiritual maturity is needed in marriage.
