A TV Presenter, Alex Kramer, who suffered 35 miscarriages in 7 years, has narrated her ordeal after her last devastating blow which was losing her twins.
Though the 40-year-old woman has two children with fiance Scott – Isobella, six, and four-year-old Josh – she is desperate for a larger family. Alex who lost her first baby and miscarried another nine times before eventually giving birth to her daughter in January 2013, told the Star on Sunday;
“I am blessed to have two beautiful children and I know there will be people out there thinking, ‘Why is she still doing this?’
“But for every person who thinks that way there will be those who will understand my longing for another child – the dream of holding tiny newborn hands and kissing little feet, as well as the grief and pain I feel every time I miscarry.
“To those people going through what I am, I just want to say you are not alone.”
The TV Presenter who had her son Josh after suffering 5 more miscarriages, further said;
“I genuinely thought I was done. But I always wanted a big family. Since trying for a third I’ve suffered a further 20 losses.
“I’ve had every test and investigation going as they tried to find out why I was having recurrent miscarriages. Nothing ever showed up.
“And having carried two children to full term I keep thinking, ‘What if this month is the month that I get my third baby?’
“But seven years on and after 35 miscarriages, I don’t think I’ll ever know the truth.”

Oh Lord!!!😥😥😥stop trying lady,adopt instead
ReplyDeleteWow, thank God she has 2. What's her rhesus factor? Women with negative rhesus factor must get that injection after childbirth, miscarriage or abortion else they will have issues with future pregnancies.
ReplyDeleteMay every woman who so desires get the chance to carry their bundle of joy.
This rhesus factor is one thing so many women are not learned about. Stella plz a post should be done about this rhesus factors so people can learn from it.
DeleteThanks for this comment. I just educated myself on this and I recommend we all do so too. Apparently, approximately 94% of Nigerians are RH(D) positive which would explain why I know so many women that have experienced miscarriage. That said, many women I know claim they don’t get that injection because they feel it leads to complications with the next baby whether carried to term or otherwise. My mum swears that the injection is responsible for my sisters learning difficulties. It’s time for some clever fertility doctors or students to conduct research into this so as to further enlighten us and perhaps open the way for more informed treatments.
DeleteI have said this before...there's need for people to educate themselves on this rhesus factor ish, it's causing a lot of havock and people doesn't even know about it.
Delete.....and people don't even know about it.
DeleteThe other day you were correcting somebody on the use of words.
Lord have mercy!
ReplyDeleteOmG!
ReplyDeleteYou already have two kids and you are going through 37 miscarriages all because you always wanted a big family. Nawa oh I'm speechless.
ReplyDeleteWoman do you want to die? Why not adopt? God is your strength
ReplyDeleteOMG 😯
ReplyDeleteEleyi gidi gan
ReplyDeleteOh dear
ReplyDeleteThe children she already have are not even old, they are still very young children. This is obviously an obsession and I wonder the impact to her family. I doubt they are untouched by this obsession to have a larger family. I have a feeling that one day she will live to regret all of this.
ReplyDeleteAt Anonymous13:25. Please don't misinform people. Rhesus D POSITIVE women do NOT need the injection. Only tghe women with Rhesus D NEGATIVE need it at 24wks of pregnancy, If they have not been sensitized. Then after delivery as well, IF baby is POSITIVE. I am a fully qualified Medical doctor, practicing in the UK.
