ReplyDeleteThe fact one isn't inclined or ignorant spiritually doesn't mean they should write off spiritual matters or spew thrash about it. I say this, reading how people had castigated some that shared their dreams here. Even though I have said in one of my article here, that there are no general interpretation to a dream, doesn't mean dreams have no significance.
In Joel 2:28, God said; " And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions."
Now let's look at Jeremiah 33:3, "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."
Through dream, Joseph was informed to accept Mary with the child in her womb.
The baby Jesus was saved from Herod through the ministration of dream, so also are the wise men instructed through dreams as well not to return to king Herod.
Through dream, Joseph mission and journey to greatness was established. Also, through that same dream famine was averted in the land of Egypt.
Peter was instructed through dream(trance) to kill and eat.... Signifying nothing is unclean before God. Which led to his visit to Cornelius (Acts 10:28)
In summation, God speaks to us in different ways. Some dreams could be divine message. Always pray for discernment whenever you dream. Do not give in to those who criticize and condemn your dreams all the time.
Ezege personally, I don't take dreams serious, especially when the dream is negative. Paying attention to negative dreams will create fear in a person, and fear is one think I don't want to patronize in my life.
DeleteYears back when the dreaded bakassi boys were reigning in Anambra, I dreamt about an encounter with them, my mom and sister also had a similar dream where I was killed by the bakassi boys. They called me to inform me but I laughed them off, didn't even spend 2 seconds thinking about the impact of the dream and it has been years.
At another time I had a dream for a job after I came back to Nigeria, I was excited about the dream cause the job was juicy in the dream, I consulted a pastor in my street about the dream and we prayed that it should come to pass, two days after the dream I was called for the same job I dreamt about..but guess what? That job nearly cost me my life, and I lost it under one week.
Some dreams if not all are illusions and shouldn't be taken serious.
We are saying the same thing boss. Some dreams are divine revelations from God. There are those who are gifted to hear God through dreams. The fact ones dream doesn't manifest doesn't mean there are no message to it. The key word here is discernment. Even Bible said, we should put all spirit to test.

Delete@sky, dreams are the simplest means God speaks to His children. It could be to avert evils, prepare you against the plans of the wicked, tell you about His future and present plans about your life or blessings coming your way. It is a compass through which God communicates to us.
DeleteAlthough some dreams cannot literally has the same interpretations but dreams are real. There are negative and positive dreams.
Negative things that would happened to me and my love ones have been averted because of timely revelations through dreams. Alot of examples.

DeleteGod reveal deep and secret things to his children. Every dream has a meaning. Because you dreamt and it did not come out exactly the way you saw it dose not means there's no meaning to it.
DeleteJoseph was able to fulfilled his destiny through dream. When you draw more closer to God you will notice how God will constantly communicate with you. God can show you what will happen in the next five years to come, then you have to back it up in prayer, if it is a good dream it will come into manifestation and if it is a negative dream it will surely be averted but through prayer.
My own is if you have a dream that you feel is disturbing you, go and find someone who is qualified to decipher it.

You want to entrust the interpretation of your dream to someone you know nothing about? You don't even know if they are normal?
When you are sick, is it just anywhere you go for treatment?
Anyway, some of you do. So why am I not surprised?
I believe in dreams! My elder bro & younger sis have the gifts of revelations through dreams. If my younger sister dreams anything negative about you, take it serious & pray fervently for it to be averted, else OYO! If my brother dreams about you winning a contract or getting pregnant, it always manifests same thing in real life! God blesses us with dream revelations to open our eyes to things about to happen.

DeletePlease people, read this. I was a special person to my dad when growing up. When he died, i still feel him around him and i believe he brings me goodluck.
DeleteHowever, my mum and I arent close, she has come to visit. I feel she always bring badluck to me. I have been so ill i cant work very well since she came visiting. All the memeber of my family got ill when she came freshly, but they are well now. I am still ill, although well enough to work minimum hours to pay the bill.
I will need to pay my mum a srt sum every month for helping out. Thats aLways the deal.
My mum causes rift between myself and husband by telling me why am throwing myself on him. This makes me defensive and create a wall btw myself and hubby, then she goes all in by being all friendly to him. Hence making me an enemy. Recently i decided to borrow myself brain and pally back with my husband. Now we are inspereable.
Recently, i started having bad dreams of death and i told my husband. I told him my mind isnt clean about my mum here. I think she brings me bad luck. Even when she stayed with my sister she lost her contract job.
When she comes around something bad happens, like you lose your good job, or you become ill.
Even herself, nothing good happens to her. Always badluck and she is always doing cele pastor jazz abd prayers. Which i detest soooo much.
I am not prayerful at all or even spiritual but i am always sensitive to happenings and bad aura around me. I dont even know what to do. I know if she goes, everything will settle but how do i ask my own mother to leave before her scheduled time? Am i overreacting and things are just coincedental? She has about 6 weeks left but am scared about my health. I can ask my sister to take her for a bit but she even is running away fron d responsibility of having her around. Just thought i should rant. Dont care about responses.
Well Madam Estateowner, none of my dreams has ever happened so I don't take them serious and don't think I'll ever.
