Looking forward to this man already. Osibanjo might be this honest, but I have a feeling he spent a lot of time trying to be seen as being loyal.
ReplyDeleteNigerians always behaving like grand mumus.
DeleteHave you done your independent verification????
So because he said it, it must be true.
Which bank? Bank that debits your money for stupid reasons and outrightly steals your money, that's the one you trust to confirm???
I don't know who is more daft, the leaders or the people but una kuku deserve each other.
So we still get people like this in Naija....
DeleteOnly corrupt and lazy youth will still vote for Pa Bubu. Even though Atiku is old, Mr Obi will always stand as 'supplement' and catch him if he wanna fall...lol
Unfortunately, the role of a Vice President is very inconsequential in the scheme of things in Nigeria. It is a very redundant role. Coincidentally, only PMB has handed over power to his Vice while travelling and that's why we saw things happen.
DeletePeter Obi that did not allow his wife operate the office of the *First Lady* , so that he can reduce cost and have enough money to develop the state and still have savings, a man that left N75 billion for the incoming government. He is a man you can NOT pish around, if ATIKU try anything this man will just resign, unlike our current VP
DeleteMy missing comment. Is it because I said Pastors cannot be trusted?
DeleteFunny enough I can't even remember Jonathan's deputy?
DeleteNigerian govt has turned it into a very redundant, valueless, soporific role.
At least Buhari's deputy wields some semblance of power and elicits some form of respect.
Statement of fact...
ReplyDeleteObi you don't need to say all this, the records are there and it speaks for itself. We aren't blind for those eight years, we saw your works and are proud of it. No governor has met that mark you set in governance. I said that in confidence and all sincerity.
ReplyDeleteHow does this amount to the 72 Billion naira you've quoting?
Delete*been
DeleteSo aside the 36billions you just read now, you think there couldn't have been no other money yeiding assest he left behind with monetary value? OK let's leave it at 36billions he left behind, how many governors you know have left such? How many did Fashiola, Ameachi, Orji Uzor Kalu, Chimaroke Nnamani, Murtala Nyako, Kwankwaso, Odili, Akpabio, Dariye, Suswam, Tinubu etc left behind during their tenure. It will interest you to know some of them left the treasury empty and even piled debts on the incoming administration. So please applaud a man who left even if it is 36billions in a corrupted Nigeria.
DeleteTeejay, you know a VPs don't make any impact unless their boss is out of the country.
Delete@BlackBerry he can be delegated to oversee some projects. Also, he can be in the decision making with his Oga. I was a President of an organization and also a club, before meetings my deputy and I always liase together before we have a general meeting. So Obi could be an influencer in one way or the other. Just like Osibanjo is heading some committee, so also could Obi head some as well.

DeleteOga, we are talking PRESIDENCY, FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA.
DeleteYou are talking Boys scout, Akido Palmwine Drunkards Group, club ko, bulc ni.
Anon 17.53 LMAO 😂😂😂😂 gedifok mehnn
DeleteUnbelievable! I have changed my mind on PDP. I will cast my vote for Atiku because of this man.
ReplyDeleteStella is a proven fact. In fact he was the only governor then that didn't owe any salary the civil servants or pensioners. Others might pay salaries but will still be owing pensioners. He introduced the operation good roads, In Anambra state he built roads even in streets. I am not from Anambra but he did very well because I saw his good deeds when I was a student in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
ReplyDeleteTrue 💯
DeleteI don't know how some people will owe pple for months even years meanwhile d money is growing fat in one account. How do people like that sleep well at night?
DeleteWe're rooting for you nwanne mmadu.
ReplyDeletePlease don't believe anything these people say.
ReplyDeleteThey are all one and the same.
NO DIFFERENCE.
This country is in deep shit, please come out and vote someone new. At least that one will be gingered to work hard.
Please don't vote these ones back.
They have nothing to offer.
No fresh ideas, no idea how to lead and develop the country, no political sagacity, nothing.
Even if you don't care, for the sake of your children please don't vote these rodents back.
Can you come out so we can vote for you? Aren't you capable? I hope it's not envy of him is giving you this heartache.
Deletethem no born he/she well to envy Obi. for which level naa , I saw this man credential I come de vex for my papa.
DeleteAnons 12:48 you are officially ridiculous,
DeleteYou are telling us this in your anonymous mode, why not come out and be proud of what u are saying; maybe we believe you then
DeleteYes my vice president. God bless and keep you for Nigeria sake
ReplyDeletePermit me to say without prejudice that Peter Obi was one of the best governor's during his time;his government was so open even the blind could see.
ReplyDeleteHe was not one for sentiments;he always said he was governor of the state and not his community and so needed to cater for all.
That's the only reason those Igbo chieftains may be against him, seeing that he wont play ball with them.
I see him as one who will responsibly resign if Atiku doesn't do right.
My confidence is with him....
Wrong statement to say during his time. Till date he still beat all of them that are governors, or who do you want to compare with him. None has broken that legacy he left in governance. Peter Obi is a rich and humble fellow. He deserve to be President of this country.
DeleteGOD bless you, Peter obi is a rare gem. My vote is on Atiku because of him
DeleteYes ooh, They should just ensure that he is president after Atiku.
DeleteThe awesome thing about this man is he gives facts,in the midst of people he served and worked with and NO one has yet refuted his claims....Quite impressive.
ReplyDeleteNice one, if he actually did these
ReplyDeleteHe did!! Peter obi is the best thing that ever happened to Anambrarians
DeleteGo to the banks he mentioned and ask if you aren't convince. Or better still go to Anambra and do your findings.
DeleteHis campaign poster was captioned Are we cursed or the caused?" His excellent performance in the State is second to none. Even the then Minister of Finance, Mrs.Ngozi spoken so highly of his style of administration.

ReplyDeleteVery true
ReplyDeleteLovely Peter. All Peters don't steal. Go and read well
ReplyDeleteYou are right dear... My dad name is Peter.. Worked and retired in Central Bank.. He was applauded when he retired.. No bribe scandal.. He is very honest and a straightforward person till date. Am really proud of my dad. My son would bear that name and I will nurture him to be as his grandpa.
DeleteAnon 13:35,his grandpa, not his father abi? Why? U dey tif? #joke
DeleteAh someone with that kinda CV won't stoop so low to steal. Cos with or without Nigeria he is made. That Cv alone can torment you in your dreams. You know wetin dey dat head of his?
ReplyDeleteHonest and humble man to the core. Would sometimes attend Sunday mass at St Mathew's Catholic Church, Amawbia. One thing signaled his presence - one black Prado Jeep parked right at the entrance of the building.
ReplyDeleteNothing about his style of governance is in question, the only thing is, would Atiku's cabal allow this man to function?
A very good question you asked. Time will tell.
DeleteHe actually paid all the debt his former predecessor gov mbadinuju accumulate, that's 3yrs pension, 15 months workers salary, every school in anambra has 2 hilux bus courtesy of his administration, tax in anambra was minimal, he don't move with too much convoy just 3 sometimes 5, every simple man though he is stingy oo, he will always tell you that "it's state money not his money " yes he an economist governor. Igbo politicians fighting him are the corrupt ones
ReplyDeleteExactly!!! They want someone to manipulate.
DeleteObi won't allowed himself to be manipulated.
ReplyDeletePeter Obi is the right choice, I pray the system and cabal will allow him work.
ReplyDeleteHe was a good leader. His legacies are there for all to see
ReplyDeleteWhile he was the Governor of Anambra State, his child was a pupil of Naval Secondary School, Port Harcourt. I was shocked when I saw his wife one visiting day and learnt that a serving Governor's child was a pupil of that school! The man is strict!
ReplyDeleteHe went to ckc college onitsha so mission & public school is not alien to him
DeleteAwwwwww!!!! See sweet sweet comments for my Peter obi.
ReplyDeleteConsidering all these comments about Peter Obi, Can we all queue and vote in 2019 please ?
ReplyDeleteI remember years ago when I turned around to exchange the sign of peace as Catholics do in Church of Assumtion Falomo, ho did I see behind me. Peter Obi. Not ev n inside the church bt on the open siting space outsid. I as gobsmacked.
ReplyDeleteMet him thrice at the airport walking freely and dragging his suitcase. All the time, waving his hands to the crawd as they cheer him on. On one occasion, he missed his flight and was just calm. I walked up to him and greeted him. Chai.... that guy is too humble.
