PDP Presidential Candidate Atiku’s Presidential Campaign Coordinators Named

Senate President, Dr, Bukola Saraki has been named the Director-General of the campaign of the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan, also said that the Sokoto and Rivers states Governors, Aminu Tambuwal and Nyesom Wike have been also named as zonal coordinators for North-West and South-South respectively.

Others who were also named as zonal coordinators are: Gombe state Governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo (North-east), Benue state Governor, Samuel Ortom ( North-central) and the Ebonyi state Governor, Dave Umahi (South-east).

Immediate past Governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Fayose was named as the coordinator for South-west.

The party’s spokesperson also said that while the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Emmanuel Udom, was appointed Chairman of Fund Raising Committee, the former presidential aspirant, Alhaji Taminu Turaki, would head the legal committee. He also said that others campaign officials would be announced in due course.

  4. If there is anything I love about Atiku, is his fastness and early preparation to things. He has hit the ground running already on a maximum velocity and acceleration. A sign of a good leader and not one that will take over six months to appoint his cabinets, one who is too slow and lackadaisical over issues.

    1. Nigeria is a nation of recyclers. Whether Atiku or Buhari, it's the same leprous hand with two fingers. The respected Prof Wole Soyinka had said so before of APC and PDP. Though sadly, politics in Naija isn't even about party or ideology as much as personalities. Ideology is zero. Parties are mere platforms for desperate clueless 'junketeers' to assert themselves in power to no other purpose than just to be the ONE there. Even Atiku is guilty of this.
OBJ of all people knows Atiku is just like the others; whether they align to rid Buhari now or not.. Come 2019, if Atiku emerges, another regime of looters will take charge, leading us continually deep down the eye of this widening gyre. They're jostling now, preparing themselves. Monies changing hands, even dollars in Naija. To the spenders, it's investment in business.
Nigerians are so desperate now to rid the nation of Buhari and his souless clueless cliques, they've completely lost sense of history, they're prepared to use even a serpent to replace Buhari. It happened before in the Advent of the draconic regime of Abacha to unseat Babangida' puppet Ernest Shonekan. We're on this trail again.
I ask us, WHAT IS ATIKU'S ANTECEDENT???... Why can't we for once get it right? We clamour for a revolution, it must start in our minds. We've proven to be a passive bunch of commentators and complainers. What kind of revolution do we want?
Cosider the French expedience that produced Emmanuel Macron. It is a form of revolution that could bring the paradigm shift we've been longing for.. CAN'T WE HAVE THAT??? Must it be PDP or APC?... Nigerians, THINK!... Else another crying, groaning, complaining and blaming times lie ahead beyond the current politrickings

    3. 12:51 let us give them the benefit of doubt just like we did with Buhari. If they fail, we kick them out.

    1. He's the chief strategist. I think he advised Atiku to appoint these people. The position means nothing to him anymore because na him dey run things, and so far he's done remarkable work.

Now they give themselves the job are they telling you only them are capable!? They are the elite the ruling class and have been for decades shine your eyes men.. this is a country of hypocrites. Tried and tested evil people rule and like sheep most of you all follow...

    1. Your President that signed the bill of not too young to run, why didn't he step aside for a youth? He still want to contest and you are here blaming PDP

    2. As if you don’t follow too. The hope was in young people like Tambuwal, Dankwambo and Saraki but they failed at the primaries. The elite will always be the ruling class. Wake up to that reality please.

  11. Fayose as South-west coordinator is a huge mistake. They should have kukuma appointed MC Oluomo or J-pron na. Those are executive agberos that can deliver. Soft werk that any correct SW NURTW Chairman will do. Fayose bawo? His goodwill account is in blood red. He can't even deliver Ekiti state sef.
