''God did not make a mistake when he created over 250 different ethnic groups, and decided to put them in a place called Nigeria,’’ says President Muhammadu Buhari Monday in Abuja.
Receiving the General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, at the Presidential Villa, President Buhari said Nigerians must appreciate God for bringing everyone together.
“We must appreciate God for bringing us together. He knows what he was doing. He didn’t make a mistake,’’ the President noted.
Describing Nigeria as “a great country’’ endowed with human and natural resources, President said:
“We have challenges in trying to get people to understand us.
“With my experience as a governor, Minister of Petroleum, Head of State, Chairman of Petroleum Trust Fund, I thought I had seen it all, but Nigeria has a way of going at its own speed.
“My morale is raised by your visit. I very much appreciate it.’’
President Buhari recalled what he described as Pastor Kumuyi’s “intellectual achievements’’ as a scholar and university lecturer before going into full time ministry, adding that he was “excited a great deal’’ for the General Superintendent's acceptance of government’s invitation to preach the sermon at the country’s 58th independence anniversary.
“Thank you very much,’’ the President said.
In his remarks, Pastor Kumuyi, who leads one of the country’s largest Pentecostal churches, said it was an honour to be received by the President on a busy day as October 1.
He told the President that he appreciates the government.
“Please remain focused and courageous and do what is right. Not everyone will support you publicly, but we are praying for you so that your tenure will be one of progress and prosperity for the country.’’
The General Superintendent was accompanied by his wife, Esther, Pastor Samuel Afuwape, Pastor Chike Onwuasoanya and Pastor Seyin Malomo, the Chaplain of Aso Villa Chapel.

1. At their new ultra-modern building, sitting over 30,000 per time, has hosted osibanjo, Ambode, pastor of different churches, top government functionary e.t.c at the building's inauguration. So this is not new.
2. Donald duke, pat Utomi, Yakubu Gowon. Had visited the church too, so he welcomes all.
3. Do you think, when they invite pastor Kumuyi and Pastor Adeboye, do think they don't get the GO- AHEAD from God to visit.
4. The bible encourages us christians to pray and respect leaders in Authority, that God put them there for a reason.
5. Have you ever noticed that both pastro Kumuyi and Pastor Adeboye don't ever castigate even past presidents OPENLY.
I was opportuned to in to interact with someone that was very close pastor Kumuyi delegation to the senate chambers one time.
He said, it was a closed door meeting during Goodlucks time as president. He said the pastor Addressed the senate for only 30 minutes. He told me talked about leadership, state of the nation, expectation of God from them....
He said non of the senator could stand up for close 20 minutes as he gave them hot! Hot!! Hot!!! . The words hit home , he later shook all the senator one by one.
He told me two senators sent, a thank Testimony to the church as both noticed after they shook the pastor, they where instantaneously Healed of terminal illness, when they got home.
I don't want to say more about pastors meeting with some leaders here, but just know they won't attack the presidency openly. There are ways they chip in their message to them.
By the inside sources, tell me on the 7th October ( this Sunday) Osibanjo and ambode is coming to deeperlife HQ in gbagada . Both wrote the church and made pastor Kumuyi the guest speaker. You can watch on this link and hear something.

Pastors like Adeboye, Kumuyi, Oyedepo, Olukoya can not be bought. i stand to be corrected. any pastor that is bought to speak good about evil is not a pastor.
