The new building was awaiting rentage by the students before it collapsed and that was why there was no casualties.
According to eye witnesses, no life was lost in the incident which saw labourers and others narrowly escape during the collapse..

DeleteMy alma mater. The craze by these landlords to build high rise accommodation with their exorbitant rent rates is the cause of this. I paid 70k for a self-contained room over 15 years ago. I wonder how much it goes for now.
