Thanks for giving us this opportunity to share our labour room drama with you.
During my first trimester's I usually spit and throw up which usually renders me useless.. After that the spit continued till I gave birth.
When my pregnancy was 6months,scan showed I had a breech baby which didn't turn till I gave birth.. The day my water broke, I packed my bags immediately and rushed down to the hospital... When the doctor on duty inserted his hands into my vee, my baby had already started pooing inside of me and due to the fact that it was breech it was coming out of my vagina already..
I was just 3cm dialated but the pains I was going through was hell.. By the next day, the pain had escalated and I was pinching the nurses that none of them tried coming closer... When the doctor checked again and I was at 7cm,he gave me injection to increase labour..
Stella, I cried I was shouting and banging the hospital tables and I just wanted baby to come out.. I started feeling like pooing and I was rushed to the theater, after 3pushes,my baby girl came out not the head first but bum first... The luck I had was that she was not big..
Immediately I give birth, the spit stopped and I wonder how strange it was ...
The stitching up is what I don't like going through because that's a pain on its own... So I usually request for sleeping injections .This is my labour room story. Picture for your eyes only.. May God bless every woman looking for the fruit of the womb and for we mother's, may we never mourn over our children..
*choi very short and direct...Congrats!!!
Chai! Thank God it ended in praise. God bless you and yours.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations mama baby.
DeleteMay God guide and protect your child.
Erm I thought that it was extremely dangerous for baby to poo whilst in the womb. Shouldn't they have operated immediately once the saw the poo?
DeleteYes, it's dangerous. Tnk God it baby is alive
Deletecongratulations on your bundle of Joy.

You try o.
Straight to the point.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations.
Amen to your prayer
Congratulations! I thought once a baby is bridge,it's automatic cs?
ReplyDeleteAre you saying a baby that had passed meconium inutero was still left in there till the next day? Your doctors have not heard of meconium aspiration in babies or what? Naija I hail o.
ReplyDeleteI tire oooo... I am shocked to hear this.
DeleteGod bless you Emmy's Bae. Meconium in utero is a sign of a baby in distress plus the possibility of inhalation on top! Ah madam poster God really, really loves you.
DeleteI’m in shock too! From breech. No CS
DeletePoo. They left her till the next day. No sense of urgency!! Whattttt!!!!
Madam I hail your composure. I cannot.
Sorry I’m a bit upset by this. I’m glad it worked out for you. Your baby was breech you went to push and the luck you had was that the baby was small? Baby pooped and you sat down calmly not a screaming at your ignorant doctors?
DeleteWhy would you accept all this? Or was your goal to give birth like the Hebrew women?
Congrats
ReplyDeleteAmen
Hmmm. Thank God you made it. And thank God baby didn't swallow meconium. The risks some people take sha. It is well o.
ReplyDeleteThis was quite risky! Glad you both came out alive. I should send my experiences to Stella...
ReplyDeleteWow
