Labour Room Drama 240

It ended in raise......

Stella good day.let me share my own labour room. Drama.

I took in immediately after our wedding which I didn't plan because hubby lost his job then. When I noticed I was pregnant, I wasn't really happy but my hubby encouraged me that all will be fine.

In my fourth month of the pregnancy, I had a terrible stomach ache that made me to cry day and night. By then I hadn't registered for antenatal so I went to hospital and the doctor referred me for a scan. I went for the scan immediately in the hospital there and low and behold the sonographer shouted madam congrats you are carrying twins.

I started crying immediately and he was surprised why I was crying without knowing that I was crying for funds to raise these kids.

I registered for antenatal immediately and everything was fine except for the fact that one baby was in a breech position but my doctors(it was a govt hospital so I had many doctors in my team) assured me that immediately the first one comes out, the second one will position well and come out too.

Three days to my Edd date I woke up around 4am to mild pain and immediately I got up from. Bed to use the restroom I saw blood gushing out from my v... I knew it was labour cos I ve been expecting it. I woke up my hubby and he was frightened and wanted to take me to hospital but I told him to relax that the pain wasn't so intense.

I left for the hospital around 12pm and when I got to the hospital I was checked and I was only 2 CM dilated. By three pm I was only 3 CM dilated and the doctor came immediately and set a line and put drip without my consent. It was my first pregnancy so I didn't really understand that that was Induce but it wasn't up-to 10 minutes Stella the pain started. I was shouting and calling the doctor to come and undo what he did to me. The pain was unbearable that I began to pull my hair. Around 6pm I started shouting that I want to poo so the nurse checked and said that if that urge come again I should push.... I pushed two time and she shouted at me that I didn't know what I was doing and the next thing I felt was a sharp pain in my vagina. I cried and used that force and pushed out my baby boy around 6.15pm.

The joy wasn't there cos I knew I still had work to do.

After the first twin came out, that was where problem started.i tried pushing out the second baby but no way. The nurse tried turning her to head down position but she couldn't. She went and called the doctors. Two doctors came and tried their best one after another no way. By then I was still in serious pain and still bleeding from my V....

The doctor informed that I should be booked for calling that was around 7pm. They left me on that delivery bed where I was shouting and crying if not for one nurse that had pity on me and came to inform me that there were so many emergencies that I should hold on that it will get to my turn....

Hmmmm Stella I nearly died if not for that great man Jesus I was just calling although the pain period. My hubby was outside praying and crying although these period cos he was not allowed to enter. Around 10pm I was taken to the theater and 10.15 on the dot my baby girl came to the world without crying. She was taken out from the theater immediately to go and revive her.

It has being four years now but the memory is still fresh in my brain. I vowed not to near that hospital or direct anyone I know to that hospital in port Harcourt. My port harcourt people will know the hospital ...

congrats and thank God it ended well...

    2. Nah, can't be military hospital. Gave birth to my first baby there and I know they are not that careless.

    3. What did I just read? I'm feeling a mixture of happiness that I don't live in Nigeria and sadness that countless women are giving birth under such conditions. Truly only Jesus can save and I rejoice with you that he saved you.

  7. Poster you doctor should have booked you for CS once he discovered one baby was Breech!
That is why its good for pregnant women to research and research!
Always do your own search to confirm your doctor's opinion or better still visit two or more other doctors for advice!
The doctor is not God. They can make mistakes too!
    Also some women are ignorant
I have a friend that lost her baby due to ignorance and stupidity/blind faith after 5 years of TTC
She had BP up till her 37th week and the doctor asked her to come for induction, that she can risk natural labour
She ran to her pastor, and was advised to wait to labour. That she should not go back to the hospital
I called her to ask how far later that evening, she said she was not going for induction. I begged her but she blatantly refused.
A week later she called me crying that she lost the baby die to BP. I was so angry.
Poster I am sure that hospital is BMH.
    Abi is it UPTH.
UPTH that does not have common mosquito nets on their maternity ward windows.

  8. Hmmmm highly risky, but thank God its ended in praise. Congratulations dear.

My labour drama was something else,
The pain started around after 10 @ night, on getting to hospital around 11pm I discovered that the doctor on duty was my admirer during my varsity days, he was like I should lie down for him to check my V*** ( in my mind,I said, this can't be happening, why today of all days).
I refused oooh and he happened to be the only doctor on duty with other nurses. Shame of opening my V.. and pains of labour(terrible combination lol)
He got angry and left oooh, it was the nurses that attended to me but as God will have it, contraction was consistent and my baby came out with just a push around after 12.

But at the end, the doctor still came in oooh cos the nurse doesn't know how to stitch neatly😭😭😭. In my mind, I was really 😠😠 and 🙈🙈 what am running away from, he has finally seen it😂😂😂.

Women dey try... in my next world I want to be a man really.

  10. I’m happy you and your babies came through okay. Praise God. What a horrific experience.

I don’t like government hospitals. They have too many patients and are understaffed. They are also very nonchalant. CS should have been the first consideration.

We should always pray about doctors who attend to us let God touch their hearts and are considerate enough to focus their attention on everyone they meet.

    God bless your family.

  12. Thank God for your life. The CS they were running from, they finally did it.
The Anon arguing with BV Blackberry yesterday, once it is more than one child, no need taking risks.
There is no reward for who bears the highest pain or births vaginally. Your reward comes in you and your babies making it alive.

  13. Imagine them leaving you for over 4hrs after the first delivery. If not for Jesus I wonder what the story would have been.
