Journalist Who Published Governor Ganduje’s Bribery Video Running For His Life...

Jafaar Jafaar – the publisher of an online newspaper, Daily Nigerian, has been running for his life after he released a multimedia report of the governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje purportedly taking kickbacks from contractors.

According to the journalist, his life has been threatened since the report which showed Governor Ganduje taking bribe from a contractor in dollars was exclusively released by him.

The State Government has denied the damning report claiming the trending videos of Ganduje taking bribe was doctored. Jaafar has been dragged to the court by the governor and rumours have it that he has gone into hiding.

The journalist said he received more than fifteen video clips showing how the governor receiving bribes from contractors.

“Experts have explored the video, and have proven that its authenticity is not debatable” Jaafar said.

However, the journalist said he had delayed publishing the video because of security concerns. He had to move his family to safe place to prevent a blow-back.

He also explained that some government officials have reached out to him as a damage control measure to give Ganduje a softlanding.

The state government has already rejected the allegations in the state, saying that the state governor was only trying to slander the state governor.

The statement by Kano State Commissioner for Public Affairs, Muhammad Garba, said that the news did not make Governor Ganduje do it.

This story continues to trend on social media with pressure mounting on the governor to step down from his seat as the number one citizen of the state.from dailyvibes

  1. ...And the most painful part of it is that nothing will be done to the case. They will sweep it under the carpet like they always do.
I feel pity for Jafaar just watch how people will steer clear from him because them no dey do Nigeria and Nigerians good.

    2. What evidence do people still need to know the video are real? It beat my imagination why a sane individual is condoning this act and spewing thrash that it holds no case before a law court. Isn't this enough exhibit? I gave up on this country.

    3. I hate stupid people especially journalist. Why put evidence out there in the media where at the end of the day, the evidence is rubished.

What did you set out to achieve before doing this?

If it's just to put in the media for social media trends, then it's bullshit.

U should know that once you start a project this big, it is WAR

God will help you out. Continue to release videos....... But he will not step down.

My advise, if any strong opposition member approaches you, sell the video and run away. Then it can be a battle between the strong in court and wherever the ring is.

  2. I know it will come to this. In Nigeria democracy died. People are been assassinated for exposing evil. In a sane country, this man will be protected and his evidence will be tabled as exhibit to nail Ganduje. What is Mr President saying in all this? The life of one of his subordinate he swore an oath to protect is in the line. What then happened to whistle blowing policy that was approved in the country? Isn't this a whistle blowing for corruption. Oga you better release that nine before they kill you ooh. Or better still give out to people that will expose it when they finally get hold of you.

    1. You keep repeating the phrase “in a sane country”. Tell us the countries and when it happened that whistle blowers are often protected. I know you would say the US and UK and other countries you glorify. But let me break your heart by mentioning few whistle blowers in the US and the UK who were not given protection after whistle blowing. Edward Snowden and Chelsea Manning of the USA just few years ago. Snowden is still in hiding from his government. He ran out of the US. Manning served years in prison before release. Julius Assange is still in hiding in the Ecuadorian embassy in the UK for releasing classified documents and frauds on different issues. The British government is still waiting to arrest and him extradite him to the US. No, the Ganduje video, in a court of law cannot be easily accepted as exhibit to nail him. And no, Jaafar Jaafar is not the president’s subordinate. He is one of his subjects like you and me. And no, this is not how the whistle blowing policy of the government is. And the money was not found. It is only IN the video. The problem is you lack detail information of a issues. You just jump to comment without enlightening yourself of the subject of discussion. You think everyone is just ignorant. Well I don’t blame you. It is because we have very vulnerable Nigerians who don’t pay attention to details on almost everything. Our emotions have the better side of us.
And stop this blatant statement with no substance that people are being assassinated for exposing evil. Who? When? How? Common man, don’t be too desperate.

    2. Political anonymous, I have followed you trend for a while and I believe Teejay is entitle to his opinion. If you are so vast and enlighten in political matters, why to you help this ffailed government. Anyway, if the governor was from the opposition party, what will have been his lots, with or without concrete evidence. Please be objective in your cloudy argument. We are not talking about facts without action. Why is Mr integrity silence on this matter? Thank God for social media. This was the same case with the former Minister of Finance on the fake certificate until Oga go slow could not take the heat to protecting her. We really need a sane country. That video was not doctored. He took the bribe. Only him one. Smh

    3. 16:17 thanks for that rejoinder. I bet you if it was a PDP governor on that video, by now Lauretha Onochie would have insulted herself with her wide mouth, Adesina and Shehu would have fire dangerous shot. Even Buhari would have justify his stands on corruption. We shouldn't turn blind sight on things like this no matter who side it is. I know PDP have corrupt politicians but the ones that presented themselves as saint are no different either. I didn't see the anonymous condemning this act rather all he keep saying the video holds no water. Is that how our conscience has become? So the whole nine videos are doctored? I join to shake my head for this country.

    4. Political unanonymous 16:17, did u bother to read what "political anonymous" wrote? No. I guess you were consumed with love for @Teejay and hatred for Baba Go Slow.

What was the essence of the video if not smear campaign? He is achieving that already so no kwams.
Problem is that it can't be taken to court. The so called contractor will not testify against his "oga" and the sting video operation does not equate to the whistle blower policy of government as no cash is stashed for government to recover.

Let Me Jafar hand over his evidence to his pay masters the PDP cos we all know it's all about 2019. But here is the main fact, Ganduje will not resign for a kickback given to him. No governor ever will resign for receiving "gratitude cash". He will at least finish his tenure.

    5. Anon 17:10. Wow! See how you coined a new name for that political unanonymous. From my observation, the political anonymous guy, abi should I call him political genius is not supporting this administration. I can’t see that in his comments. What I noticed is that, he is continuously challenging teejay and others who post comments based on wrong info or no facts. And we all know teejay is guilty of that because he is this kind of ITK person. Please read the examples he gave above, names, and you will see that they are responses to teejay’s comments. I still remember how he provided evidenced against the things teejay Sa’id about no southerner was nominated for intelligence and security chiefs position. He fired back. Then teejay did the same thing about the NPC nominee that Igbos are not given to head the position there. He fired back with clear evidence that an Igbo man is in fact the head. Those kind of erroneous comments by teejay. I have also seen where he responded to teejay’s questions about obanikoro and the new DG SSS. Even teejay responded that he now respects him after his comment. What teejay is doing is not about having his opinion. It’s about emotions and wrong information. Also wrong arguments. The guy speaks about the role of the court and how evidence operates. He didn’t even mention his own opinion. Just look his comment above, you can tell what he means. By the way, ‘political unanonymous’, your comment sounds like teejay’s. The same grammar o. And use of words. I go tell political anonymous make him fire on. Him na my new boo.

  4. Why didn't Jafar Jafar post this himself? Why is it coming from someone else's account? If he has about 15 more videos, he should post it already or send it to EFCC since Buhari has ordered the investigation of the alleged bribe. Those pushing this anews are doing a great job in using the heads of their gullible followers to achieve their aim

    1. And one anonymous is seriously busy defending this criminality. Saying it can't nail him before a law court. It will be too wasteful of my time arguing over it, the reason I ignored a rejoinder. Nigeria isn't a country to stake ones life.
