Doctors Separate Conjoined Twins In Abuja Hospital

A team of Nigerian doctors Tuesday successfully separated a set of conjoined twins at University of Abuja Teaching Hospital Gwagwalada.








The doctors led by Dr Nuhu Kwajafa of the Global Peace Initiatives confirmed the success of the operation that took them many hours in a post on his Instagram account @nuhukwaj.

“We wish to express our profound gratitude, as we say a massive thank you to Rt Hon Yakubu Dogara, for his kind hearted and extremely generous gesture to the successfully separated twins and their family...God bless you Sir”, Dr Kwajafa posted.

  3. Nigerian doctors are smart o, are they not the same ones working in the US, Canada and the UK? The problem with the ones in Nigeria is access to healthcare equipment/facilities so they may not be very vast in the things they can do but bring them abroad and see them pick up sharply.
    I have seen many, many sef pick up so fast when they arrived abroad. Nigerian government needs to do better by equipping the hospitals in Nigeria.

Let me say this ,the problem is the government providing adequate equipments ,the problem is who monitor those equipments.I have seen many organizations and government provide all this equipments to our hospitals and health facilities including drugs but before u know it they will all disappeared into some private hospitals and clinics.talking from experience not guessing.
