  1. So without Ekweremadu no other person is good and qualified to run in that senatorial district?. This is so bad for the system and the reason for the high level of corruption among the politicians.

    1. Ekweremadu is doing very well in Enugu west senatorial district most especially in his home town Agwu. More than half of the roads in Agwu were built by Ekweremadu, there are so many people from that district who are on scholarship in UNN, ESUT, IMT etc courtesy of Ekweremadu. How about electricity? na still Ekweremadu!

A senator can stay in office for many tenures as long as he's doing well and Ekweremadu is doing very well and there's no reason to change him. Moreover he is the highest political office holder from the East and Igbo Nation aren't ready to lose that position yet.

    2. Yeah, Ekweremadu is doing very well by using the constituency money to construct roads sand install electricity. He also uses the money to buy himself properties in Dubai, UK and the US. I thought you would include that to part of the good things he has been doing. So Agwu is the only place of focus? I thought Senatorial districts are not limited to only one local government.
Well, I don’t care about how long he stays. Teejay misses that point. Even John McCain up until his death was a senator for several terms. Same with other congressmen. It is not only a Nigerian thing or a bad system as you call it. It is only bad when the people steal and provide less for their constituents like some of our senators.

  2. It's pretty annoying that people that complains about the country's political elites running this country like their personal company are the same people that would castigate you and vote against you when you try to be the change and yet they would say they want change.

Often times, I have always stood to protest the way conductors "jampack" people in the bus but only for the same people that have been complaining about the place being tight would shout at you and say " na So dem dey carry am now, u just come Lagos ?" Just imagine.

And we ask ourselves why we are still where we are. A lot of Nigerians are docile, selfish and lazy. If they weren't, they would have been able to selflessly remove that nail they saw on the walkaway;that man they saw an unarmed soldier maltreating; protest that toll gate that was increased but "whosai" ? They would never do it.

I leave you my fellow BV's with this quote as these is the only place some very few people tend to reason like a human should.

" no one gets what they deserve; you only get what you negotiate ".

Have a great day guys. Cheers!

    Randolph Mark.

    1. Actually in a sane country, the longer lawmakers stay in office the better for the country due to their wealth of experience. There are lawmakers in USA who have been there for like forever.

    2. How much do lawmakers in the US make? For their jobs, they earn chicken change yet they work their lives out. They have side hustles like every other usual people. What about ours? They make and steal millions making them richest lawmakers in the world. Ekweremadu is not any different. That is why he can afford mansions in the US, UK and Dubai. At least, these are the ones exposed recently.

    1. Ekweremadu is not doing anything? Don't say this around Agwu people o because they'll eat you alive...... Hehehehehehe

Talking about longevity in office, Robert Byrd was a senator for 51 gears (1951-2010) in USA. Daniel Inouye was a senator for 49 years (1963-2012) Ted Stevens served for 46 years and many more who have been there for 10, 20, 30, 40 years.

In Nigeria, Senator Uchechukwu Metier was a senator from 1999 till he died a few years back.

  6. Is it his birth right? Is there no other person who is qualified in that SENATORIAL DISTRICT,I really don't get why some people will be so self centered, what's new that he has to offer? Nothing..... it's so sad that Nigerian politics is so monetized, highest bidder takes it all, thereby making it difficult for vibrant, articulate and pragmatic men and women who has the interest of the nation at heart.... he is lucky he is from Enugu state, some state, getting first tenure is not easy, talkless of fourth. Anyway, I wish him well provided, he carries his constituent along, by doing the needful.

  8. I just want to know, If the people of this man's senatorial district are enjoying the dividends of this man's long stay in the senate? Roads, Empowerment, Federal presence, good health care, scholarship, poverty alleviation? Is he touching loves positively? If yes congratulations to him, he can go 15million times but if NO, then he will be removed CEREMONIOUSLY in shame, since Enugu people can't retire him from that senate.

  9. Ekeremmadu go and rest, posterity will surely judge you for oji-Awgu road that is like a death trap, while your sitting on the constituency fund building mansions all over the world.
I weep for my people and looking forward for who will free us from the grips this devil incarnate.
