    My parents wanted me to marry someone "abroad" (Jamaica) and na US the man dey chant for my ear when he visited. All he was speaking na "wana, gonna bla bla bla". I refused. I was engaged to my classmate and we wedded the month we left school; no house, no car, no "thrash". We were floating for quite sometime but happy. Until about six months later when we could rent our our apartment.

    Another one they wanted me to marry -a very comfortable professional but "rich" in their minds, died in auto crash just a few months after we wedded; quite pitiable though. I did not love him and that was a deal breaker for me!
