Afenifere Suspends Sen.Omisore For One Year For Anti-Party Activities

The Pan Yoruba socio-Political Group, Afenifere has announced the suspension of the candidate of the Social Democratic Party in the last Governorship election in Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore for one year.

He was suspended for working against the position of his party which is the stance of Afenifere.

Omisore was alleged to have aligned with the All Progressives Congress to win the rerun election in Ife South and North Local Government Areas of Osun State.

Omisore’s suspension was part of the decisions taken at the monthly meeting of the Afenifere, held at the residence of its leader, Chief Reuben Fasoranti, in Akure, the Ondo State capital

  2. Suspension baseless and unwarranted. See no difference between APC and PDP.

  3. Is Afenifere now a political party? And even if it is, can it claim to be Social Democratic Party?
Honestly, I don't get how his anti party activities against SDP became anti party against Afenifere.

  5. This man! Sell out. They should suspend him. Let me see if he will go to APC. His political relevance is tied to a party. Afenifere makes SDP popular. Without party platform he is nowhere. So he might as well run to APC

  6. Funny bunch of people trying to be relevant by fire. Who chose them to represent Yorubas? They gave Goodluck Jonathan fullestcsuppoert in 2015 and the man did not win in SW. Shouldn't that tell a discerning person that they are not regarded as being important? Self serving peeps.
