  2. Well, what i know is that ancient Indians and Egyptians wore it as a feminine ornament.
The narratives keep changing as others adopted the style.
If a married woman is readily available, simply remove your wedding ring like your male counterparts now.

    1. People will say just about anything to propagate their hatred for things.

That's how someone started a BC about how sperm can go into the spinal cord and brain.

All in a bid to say premarital sex is wrong, why not go straight to the point instead of trying to use fear to instill morals?

I hope people also know where earrings originated from.

    2. Lmao. If I hear I go still wear. I used to wear before but I lost them till I went on holiday with my friend who wore them and I remembered I’ve not worn in a while.

I remember one day I wore it to church with mumsi the priest was like why am I wearing that that’s what ogbanjes wear. He seized it since that day my mumsi will be vexing when I wear it I will just be looking like her like.. so with all my education and exposure you think I will pull my accessory because of one priest? Yinmu. Is it written in the bible? Even the piercing of ear that is written there we are still wearing abeggi. I will buy some more sha.

    3. Iphie Dearie, some men and women would say anything to police how women choose to dress. I work in a corporate organization and I wear anklets the days I feel like and I also make them for people as well as waist beads. I know people who also have tattoos who work in my company and this does not affect their output in anyway, they are highly placed individuals. I don’t like tattoos personally but I won’t hate on those who do based on my preference.

  20. Don't let people's judgement deny you your joy. In Oxygen's voice, a wise uncle once told me that if you want to be successful in life you should not listen to the negatives people wisper about you.

  23. I love anklets, but when I was growing up it was said that only prostitutes wear them. They obviously do not have a positive image. I only learned this year that a choker was originally created to let men know that a woman was ok with anal seck. Perhaps there is some truth in the anklet story because it is a very controversial piece of jewellery no matter the country.
