      You are beyond ridiculous. Has it ever occurred to you that ppl have different personalities? There is a place for the quiet and shy ones and there is also a place for the loud and joyous ones. Nobody needs to apologize for their personality. One couple has just endured a devastating tragedy, I am sure they are happy to have someone like Annie around to change the energy.

      I feel bad for you, but if he can't do a full week or more getaway then let him take you some place for a weekend. I can't deal with broken promises or ppl just telling you something they know you want to hear although they have no intention of fulfilling it. I hope the excuse in your situation is just the money. If money is not an issue for both of you then don't wait on him, just tell him you are planning a couple's getaway for a particular date and he should book his time off work for that period.
