MRS DEE'S CORNER
COOKING SKILLS


Some people are so skilled in cooking that whatever they touch in the kitchen turns to 'gold'. Others only excel with the right quantity and quality of ingredients. Lol.


If some people have to prepare food using little ingredients because of "management" the food most times turns out tasting bland. Some people still will use all the ingredients and spice in the world and the aroma will leave you salivating but when the food is dished and you take a spoonful, you'll almost spit it out or swallow it with difficulty. My hubby refers to those types of food as "E jo e ba mi je" lol. *side eyes at self*


My mum is so skilled in the kitchen that no matter how small the ingredients are the food will be so tasty, you'll be left wondering the secret ingredient she used. She was very well patronised when she was a mama put seller but 'igbese' no gree am see road.


When she came for omugwo during my first delivery, she practically took over the cooking in the house and hubby enjoyed her food so much that if she were not my mum, I would have been jealous. It's so sad that none of her children 'inherited' that from her.


I can hold my place down in the kitchen, but I'm yet to get to the stage where I prepare food with little ingredients and it still tastes great. I don't ever want to get to that point.


The internet has also made cooking easier for a lot of women to try out different dishes and create varieties on the table. The preparation is just a click away and easy to follow.


I'm so sure the mothers of old envy our women today because cooking during their time was quite strenuous and time consuming.

OFFICE SNOOPER

Why cant some people just mind their fucking business? As in you asked to use my phone to call a dispatch rider you sent on an errand and I stepped out of the office to go talk to my boss. The next thing I caught you reading my messages!!! A guy for that matter! Really I am so pissed and he just made me angry. I felt like slapping him but I only retrained myself cos its an office environment. Not that I have anything to hide but I have lots of private chats with my friends, things they discussed with me in confidence, even fellow colleagues. Its so annoying. 




*I am sure he wanted to snoop,might have been doing it since...Please dont give out your phone next time.There a lot of office snoopers/gossip.check your phone well,he might have screen shot the chats and forwarded to himself.

EAR LOBE BROUHAHA

My neighbour got her 3 months old daughter's ears opened. However,  the earlobe got infected and started bringing out pus. She went to the hospital immediately for treatment/dressing and was given antibiotics and got the ear rings removed. Now, the infection is gone and she has stopped having pains in both ears but the hole on her ear lope became big. Friends suggested that she should not put back the earrings in order for it to be closed. 


She's done that for like  a month now but has not seen any improvement 
Please I hope she gets suggestions on how to closed up the hole a bit from any one that have had such experience without surgery.




All this wahala on top what?This is the reason some people here in Germany do not open the ears until she is old enough to decide whether she wants or not...The process takes just two minutes to do...You people should leave that baby alone before you kill her all in the bid to open her ear lobes....na wah!!!

MEMO TO TO POSTER OF ''UGLY'' GIRL CHRONICLE


Dear Stella,Its been a long time I commented on this awesome blog but after reading Tuesday's chronicle, I decided to write this.Am not a pretty girl neither am I plain but God blessed  with a great backyard and front yard.All my life i have had friends who were models and beauty Queens.


Imagine being amongst such girls.me that is short and petite,but I never let that to bother me.i have some great friends,even in sch.All through my life I have been a fitness freak,so I always exercise and go hiking.I dress well and I have a couple of handwork that bring me cash from time to time.

I learnt how to do makeup,sometimes I make people up,i can braid hair,I do home tutoring,i keep dogs too,i sell consumables,i sew .i just keep myself busy.my friends even fight over me lol.


I go to church too and I pray,Above I read.....That's my investment: Books.


if I get bored,I take a brisk walk..Then i chill on top Sdk to relieve tension.The men nko?I have never dated an ugly dude.All the guys i have dated are super fine,I have returned a couple of rings too.Though am in my 30's,both younger guys and my mates are attracted to me.I Am currently dating an amazing man and we've been together for years.my advice to the girl is not to be idle and take care of yourself.Everybody has their strong side.learn a skill.remove yourself from toxic people.Attached are my pics for Stella's eyes only.
