Curses like I did said yesterday on my article comes in three ways;
1. Inherited.
2. Self inflicted.
3. Cast upon(Diabolical spell)
Before I start, I will want to say not every stagnation or setbacks are as a result of a curse, it could be ones laziness, attitude and illiteracy about innovation and inadequate knowledgeable skills to excel in a competitive society.
1... An inherited curses are those ones transferred from one lineage to another. This could either be as a result of parents, grand parents or even great grand parents unholy act usually associated with ritual worship and sacrifice made to deities they once worshipped. In this case, some parents initiated their children even unborn ones to the service of this deities, and when this children eventually grow up and didn't tow the path in which they were dedicated, there comes the attack and obstacles on their path of success. It could also be a vow made on them that turn around to torment them.
Now understand this, one can stop idol worshipping but the hold and effect on the individual and family could still be strongly connected unless a total cleansing and deliverance is been done to liberate such kindred. This is a good reason one need to ask question about the family lineage, and also the meaning of some strange native names they bear. There are some ancestral deposit still in some family possession, while some are buried beneath the ground in a living compound and until those items are destroyed and thrown away, you will always be tormented by those demons.
2... Self inflicted curses are the ones brought upon by one own actions either knowingly or unknowingly. This aspect is so powerful just like the inherited curse but dangerous, for the burnt is usually direct to the individual. People inflict curses and setbacks upon themselves in many ways such as; deceitfully and intentionally betrayal of trust, idolatry, adultery, fornication, abortion, bloodshed, embezzlement, accomplice in a crime, withholding of a truth, bearing false witness and accusations, abuse and disrespect to parents and the elderly, depriving widows and orphans of their just right, giving wrong judgment and sentence.

Remember you must be willing to do away with every act and deposit capable of withholding you back.
In an eventuality where one who cast the spell is gone(dead) much can still be achieve in breaking out provided atonement is being made to appease the deceased spirit. In this case, only a spirit filled individual can handle such case to broker peace between the living and the death.

This was something I was doing privately only for a friend to come to me one day and say she had a dream, that a voice told her to beg me to stop cursing the idiot and Leave everything for them. I had to ask God to forgive me for my anger.

My take....
Grandparents has alot to do in bringing up a child, though u cannot really say they pamper kids but for the few ones i have seen, they dont pamper but they over nurture kids..we should know that, some grandparents are so much in love with kids which makes them overlook some attitudes n makes it a problem to the kid at the long run.
Also, the truth be told, the father is at fault, that boy needs fatherly love but the young man was not there to give it to him hence led the boy into some bad tinz..as a man, we have a role to play in our children' life, dont leave everything to ur wife or ur parents, owo kan ki ngbe eru dori.....
Dont forget also...
As a woman, getting married to a man who in one way or the other has had a kid out of wed luck, the man will surely bring home his child sooner or later even if he told u he rejected the pregnancy, dont forget that, , blood is thicker than water....

Trying to make sure I come to his house to spend a night, but I refused, I visited him one Sunday but I was on my period then so he could not take advantage of me, I did not see my morta in his kitchen or room, so I did not ask of it with the intention that the morta should be in his car. Isinkwocha (the bald headed man), Okpaku eri eri (the rich man who lived like a pauper, Onye ezi omume (the righteous sister who always came to expose our sins to our parents), I gara worry wa (the one who doesn't leave until he eats), Bro Mbe (the cunning guy who always parted with my father's money after recounting his fake ordeal. Mbe means tortoise. We always wondered why our dad never saw through him).
ReplyDeleteBut I want to talk about I gara worry wa? (simply means why bother?). This man will come to our house, relax, gist until there's nothing to talk about. He will request for old newspaper, read and throw some topics to my dad to be discussed. All these while, activities will be going on in the kitchen. After cooking, my sisters and I will delay a little to see if he'll go but for where? My mom will always scold us and asked that food be served to him. I'll grudgingly go and serve him.
Now this is what he does: once he sees the food coming, he'll stand, dust his butt like he wants to leave. My dad will tell him to sit down and eat nau, the food is for him. He'll now sigh and say to me "I gara worry wa?".
In my mind, l'll be like "I gara worry wa? kill you there! Why didn't you go since"
He'll sit and immediately and wolf down the food even before you bring water. This occurred often and my siblings and I hated him for it.
I gara worry wa died yesterday. My mom called to tell me.
I hadn't seen him in years but thought of him a lot last night and I realized he did so much for us. He bought an agric coconut and planted in our compound, it's the best I ever tasted. He stopped by our house every Sunday to pick my dad to church, he fixed our doors and ran little errands for our mum. But we were too blinded by our hate for his love for food, we didn't see these things.
