Was watching a Nigerian News station where armed robbers were paraded and the robbers who were all seated on the floor were all questioned one after the other...When it got to the turn of one,he was asked his relationship with the one sitting near him and he denied that he knew a 'thief'...The thief sitting near him screamed and said ''you know sabi me?you wey we dey thief together!'....meanwhile he had earlier denied he was a thief and said it was mistake identity.....LMAO!

ReplyDeleteI thought teeth pain experience is the most difficult in a humans body, not until I saw a grown up lady crying like a baby over an ear problem at the hospital I visited yesterday.
I asked one of the nurses and he said ear pains are worse to compare with teeth. Could this be true? For I haven't experience any of the both, and pray I won't. I really felt pity for her. Pains is a respecter of none.
I took up the responsibility of caring for my siblings and no after my dad passed mom last year and it has been so mind wrecking.

If they are above 18, encourage them to get jobs to at least cater to their everyday needs, and you will sort the major ones.
In life, you must be deliberately selfish sometimes, so that you don't end up resentful.
As for relationship matter, even if you feel you're not too beautiful, invest in good clothes and learn proper makeup. I don't mean expensive clothes o, just look nice. You can go online for guidance if you don't know what to combine.., then close your eye and pay someone to take you through personal makeup class.
All these things I'm encouraging you to do, is to boost your confidence and esteem. When you feel good about yourself, you will attract men that are serious trust me.
You will be fine.

Have seen someone that went through tooth ache, the pain was too much but ear pain no experience.
DeleteYou can't even open your mouth to eat anything. The headache you get eh, it effects even legs and waist. Can't ever forget 2013. The way I avoid dirty water, shapoo, dirty matche stick etc getting into my ear eh! I let the ear wax clean it and get some out when is much. Worst thing, it never becomes the same again after the infection. It will always itch every now and then when wet.

How do people know that their child is going to have dada hair?
ReplyDeleteIm asking because a man i know started behaving irrationally and acting mad. The family went for "cleansing" and the prophets revealed that all that was happening because their 3 month old baby is a dada child and will have dada hair.
What is special aboyt dada children? Why is the hair not combed or cut? How do the prophets mnow a child will be one???
Prophets know that a Child would be 'Dada' because it is revealed to them by God.It is believed that 'dadas' are special because people believe that the "Dadas' have Natural Spiritual Powers, eg, Samson in the Bible. It is also believed that 'dada's hair should not be cut anyhow because there are consequences for cutting it anyhow, to the Parents and Child.

If your child has very curly hair that easily twists together (I've seen some ignorant parents that took that as a sign)then there are lots of natural hair products to use for that hair unless you just want your child to have dreads and not for any spiritual reason.

So I was going through IHN late yesterday and saw a lot of people advicing the lady that said she is afraid of labour to go for CS.
I just want to ask oo cos I'm confused, is CS not painful? I mean after the surgery has been done. I don't know if there are different kinds of CS but the women I saw in the hospital that delivered through CS were still in a lot of pains even after 2 weeks post partum.
Let's not even talk about the weeks they spend in the hospital, they don't do exclusive cos the ones in my room were all using NAN1 for their babies. When I asked my mum why ain't they breastfeeding? She said it might be hard seeing how painful their tummy still feels, so balancing the baby to suckle will be hard.
Have you noticed they can't bend down, lieing down was so much work for the one in my room.
I'm not trying to talk down on CS but poster should be aware that it comes with a lot of pains too. If she has lo tolerance for pain is it the post partum CS pains that you will have tolerance for?
Madam, I will advice you go through all these options very well with your doctor. I will still advice, if there are no medical reasons for CS, it's better for you to birth vaginally. Even if u get tear and was giving episiotomy too, highest after 1 week you will be good to go.
The searing pain will start reducing after the 3rd day and you can start doing your normal everyday chores.
I was up and about washing and cleaning and washing 3 days post partum but I doubt if you do CS u can be able to do these.
CS might protect you from that labour pain you are running away from, but what of the pain that comes after the procedure or you think is totally pain free? Think again dear.
I have already giving you advice on yesterday's IHN on how to control your fears, you can go check it out.
Make I go wash oooo...this one rain is doing any how any how.

DeleteThrough CS isn’t a painless experience. I had one early in the year. I felt excruciating pain for the first three days. I was always walking by day 3 and left the hospital by day 4. You have to be strong and not just give in to the pain. You are advised to refrain from carrying anything heavy ( anything heavier than your baby), bending down and exercising. Also keep the wound site clean and dry. Take your antibiotics. My scar healed nicely. But the scar site itches me occasionally and when I wear tight clothing around that region I feel pain. Otherwise I am good. Also, you may not be tie your belly. I was also super scared of vaginal delivery and wanted elective cs. My family and inlaw were against CS. But God knew the end before the beginning. CS is not so scary. Pray for safe delivery and no form of complication. You will share your testimony soon.
DeleteOn this issue, I have a friend that had panic attacks cos of this and she had a vagina delivery at the end of the day.
DeleteI remembered and asked her how did she overcome this and she said that she read the bible verses that dealt on fear and that helped, she continually confessed and prophesied safe delivery upon her life, listened to Christian songs and even had one playing loudly in the delivery room that day as she gave birth and that helped in calming her down and removing fear from her spirit.
Why don't you do the same? God has not given us the spirit of fear but of boldness and sound mind. Fear is a spirit and with it comes a host of other evil thoughts and whatnot. Don't give devil the chance to get to you, you can do this mama...you can! So speak it into existence. Your doctor has examined you and has recommended it for you...if it wasn't safe, he wouldn't dare do that. God is in control dear so fear not.
CS no be moimoi, my sister had 3 for her babies and I saw firsthand the pains and stress that came with it.

There's this couple that lives adjacent to my building, they are always arguing. They are both Caucasians, the woman's voice is always loud, the man is threatening to move to their other house right now. They are still talking on top of their voices.
I am grateful for life and the beautiful things of life.

ReplyDeleteOver the weekend, I watched a couple of Whoopi Goldberg's movies. I'd seen the movies a long time ago but just had to watch them again.
I noticed how fresh faced and young she was in Ghost, Sarafina and Sister's Act. I compared with her recent pictures and was wowed. But my greatest surprise was finding out (after viewing the musical part over 5 times) that Jennifer Lewis was one of Whoopi's young, sexy back up singers in Sister's Act.

Sisters Act 1&2, woow. Whoopi did marvelously. How she got the sisters to start singing perfectly that even the pope visited their convent.

Is the money not for the good of the family someone robbed my piggy bank and it was family who did las week it was just 40K but it pained me cos i saved it up little by little and i still give him money every time it really hurt m There are certain things family don't do. ReplyDeleteI had ear pain some months ago ,that was when I knew tooth pain was child's play compared to ear pain .The pain goes as far as the brain and I had to hold my head as if it was being torn to pieces. was on very strong pain killers throughout the period.

Sugar seems you are AA genotype. I used to have the same issue...evEry month treatment of malaria. I was told it's cos I'm AA, that we have more bouts of malaria and typhoid more than our AS counterparts.

You talked about westernization in general without addressing the good aspect of it and i needed to give more insight by explaining that white wedding is still part of westernization. We should understand that bad character and lack of self control has nothing to do with westernization or culture. You can find an ill-mannered person everywhere.
The bride was wrong in pouring back that plate of rice and if the mother-in-law had walked away instead of slapping the bride, she would have won several points but she committed the act of violence first by slapping the bride. Self control has no age factor in it and most times, we ignore the disrespectful and demeaning characters of elderly people just because they are older.
Both of them lack self control and have temper issues. If you actually look into it, the groom must have fallen in love with the bride because she has that 'spit fire' attitude same as his mother. Both the bride and the mother-in-law have similar personalities.
If that bride does not change, she will grow up to become that mother-in-law
The mother-in-law is also not an easy woman to live with.
