Good Morning Everyone........
I am assuming we all had a good night?Mine was spent between being awake and being asleep....

This people will not kill someone oh...Flu injections are meant to reduce the effects of flu when you have them but the injection itself has made me so sick that i am wondering if it wont be better to risk seeing if one will have the flu at all than to self induce it via the injection.....Yesterday was horrible....The injection spots on both upper arms hurt me so much i cried like a baby...Its a little better but still hurts....I am done with taking flu injections oh and i strongly advise anyone against it..ah!!

Thank God for hubby and the Bambinos who took over....I had Lacmajun (Yummy Turkish Sharwama) for Dinner bought by the Bambinos....
They also massaged my back, rubbed the back of my head, told me what a great person and mama i am and then they went and did all what they are Banned from doing.....LOL

Shoki night resumes today,I couldn't continue last night for obvious reasons and i would rather post a little and hand it out to BV'S via email cos one person might load all if i post all.*wink*

See you in another post
Kisses!

  1. The popular fruit garden market in Port Harcourt burned beyond recognition as I passed there this morning. Goods worth millions were destroyed including building. The fire started 8pm last night as I heard. This morning I saw women crying over their markets  that got burnt. The cry of a young lady I saw there touched me deeply. So sorry for their loss. Some refilled their stock just yesterday and this happened. So painful and devastating. Most of the traders live at Oyigbo and before they could reached, everything has been destroyed as I heard one of them saying.

    1. Market and fire is like 5 and 6...I could remember growing up in onitsha, there's usually fire in onitsha main market almost on yearly basis until the government stepped up and built fire proof shops.

My heart goes out to those that lost their wares and goods to the fire incident, government should please assist them in any possible way.

Then imagine how these people who have had their source of livelihood destroyed feel. Its well o. May God help them

    5. Passed there too on my way to work this morning. The traders were just wailing and making calls. Peoples shops got burnt to ashes. I could hardly concentrate cos it so so emotional. I nearly parked to cry.Its sad that our emergency response is so poor. To think the police usually park at that spot to extort taxi drivers. Why could they get firefighters?

I was in a fix of either to go into the compound or find my way. The facial expression of Mrs. Julius' husband was scary like fuel scarcity. 'You could be arrested', one part of me said. 'No, you've done nothing wrong, just go in an explain yourself. Simple', the other part argued. I decided to go in.

As I stepped in, the man was already screaming 'Sandra, come here!' with a voice that reminds one of Nyesom Wike.

Mrs. Julius walked out slowly and calculated like a cat preying a rat. The raspiness of her husband's voice was not enough to cower her. 'Mehn, this woman is a queen anytime', I said within me.
'Can you tell me why this young woman came here...?'. Mr. Julius started.
'She is Campbell's new home lesson teacher', she cut in.

'I think I told you to let that girl be. Where do you expect her to get another job? Aren't you in this country? Where do you expect her to feed from?', Mr. Julius' voice was pitching higher.
'I don't bloody care! she should have known that before going beyond her boundaries', her voice was also pitching.

I stood there like a stubborn young girl who was the reason for her parent's quarrel. The gateman was peeping from his cubicle's window while the driver pretended to be cleaning the Venza, catching one or two looks.
'I don't want to see this girl here again!', Mr. Julius said pointing at me as he walked into the apartment. I noticed how tall he was for the first time.

The man was the true definition of tall, dark and handsome. He dressed cool with a lovely stock jeans and an ash coloured t-shirt with a designer's spectacle hanging over his head.
'She's who I can trust my son with, so she'll be back!', Mrs. Julius screamed behind her husband. As she did, her hair went in a frenzy like a drunk club girl. The woman was a terror in anger.

  4. Good morning lovelies 😘😘

    Let’s have a laugh. . .

LEAVE OSUNDECIDES AND THE TINUBU-AMBODE SAGA....

It was the first day of the session and a new direct entry student, Mensah, a Ghanaian, joined the class in a Nigerian university.

The Lecturer said, "let's begin by reviewing some Nigerian history" and he asked who said, "I shall return to die in the land of my fathers?" She saw a sea of blank faces, except for Mensah, who had his hand up. Mensah replied: "King Jaja of Opobo, 1875".

    "Very good!" said lecturer.

Then she asked again, who said, "The land use act will feed the nation?" Again, no response except from Mensah who said: "Obasanjo, 1976."

The Lecturer snapped at the class: "Class, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Mensah, who is new to our Country, knows more about our history than you all."

The Lecturer heard a loud whisper: "Ghana must go" "who said that?" she demanded, Mensah put his hand up, "Buhari 1984."

At that point, a student at the back scornfully said; "Hmmm, you think you are smart?" The Lecturer glared and asked; "All right! Now, who said that?" Again, Mensah said, "Babangida to Abiola, 1992."

Now furious, another student yelled: "Oh yeah! Eat this!" Mensah jumped out of his chair waving his hand and shouting to the Lecturer, "Indian mistress giving an apple to Abacha, 1998".

Now, with almost mob hysteria, someone said: "You little shit. If you say anything else, I'll kill you." Mensah frantically yelled at the top of his voice; "Chris Uba to Ngige, 2004!"

The Lecturer fainted, and as the class gathered around her on the floor, someone said: "Oh shit, we're in Big trouble now!" Mensah whispered; "Chimaroke Nnamani, Ayodele Fayose, and Lucky Igbinedon 2007"

Someone angrily said; "Dont answer him, he is a fool"and Mensah smiled and replied: "Obansanjo to IBB, 2011"

Now the Lecturer manage to get up and asked Mensah: "pls, who're you? Show your self ..." and Mensah jumped and yelled saying: "Jonathan to BOKO HARAM 2012".

Class Captain shouted: "We are locking you up". Mensah gently replied ... "Buhari to LOOTERS 2015".

All the students shouted in anger "This school will be locked till further notice" and Mensah looking confused said Ajimobi (constituted authority) to LAUTECH students 2015.

The students looked at Mensa and said, O ni wa mo! U won't come again!!!
Mensah smiled, that's Tinubu to Ambode 2018. He quietly left the group. πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

  5. Can someone tell me why Nigerian Army are so powerful?

I watched a video how a Soldier smashed the drivers windscreen without any regards for those inside and later beat up the driver and stripped him naked just because he overtook him.

And I ask is it wrong to overtake someone on uniform especially Army? When would Nigerian Army stop acting like this? Civilians are not the enemy. Though Danfo drivers can be extremely rough, all pleas to this Army went into deaf ears. Soldiers need to take up courses on Anger management.

  7. DIARY OF AN ABUJA HUSTLING BABE ( PART 1)

She turned and looked at me with a calm face that made me go gaga, 'Please I'm sorry for this. Make sure you resume work tomorrow by 4: 00 p.m. I will handle this,ok?', she said trying to reassure me as she could see the confusion on my face.

I walked towards the gate. As the gateman came to open the gate, he said to me, 'Hanti, don't you trying to come again o, my oga head is not a good o'. His Calabar-tongue laced English was beginning to vex me. He look like someone who doesn't mind his business.

As I headed home, my stomach began making some terrible noises. I regretted not taking a drink at the Julius'. At least, it would have helped a bit. But that wasn't my main concern. My worry was if to call myself employed or unemployed at that point in time.

Should I go back to start as requested by Mrs. Julius? Can she really handle the issue on ground? What if she deceives me that she has and Mr. Julius catches me there?
At that point it occurred to me I hadn't even gotten Mrs. Julius' phone number.

Next day, in my confusion, I made for the Julius. I knew it was a suicide mission but who cares. After all, man must die of something. If I die teaching Campbell while admiring his father's face, so be it. It would be known in history that I died 'imparting knowledge' on a child.

Knocking at the gate, the mischievous gateman peeped from an opening and said,' This girl, it's like you do not hearing word o'. 'Wait make I go ask madam first', he continued and made for the apartment. I pray earnestly he would come back with the response 'come inside'. I needed this job badly.

It's officially autumn for us here, the heavy wind with a thunderous voice and rain that has been displaying their power for the past days, have shown us that winter is coming wearing a Roman amour with golden swords.

    2. In addition to what Rose wrote, take Apple cider(2 table spoons or one cap of the cover) mixed in warm water with garlic first thing in the morning and last at night.

You can also mix the ACV in warm water and wash your Vjayjay once a day (this helps a lot with the yeast infection).

Then if you are not going anywhere, be pantless to air out the Vjayjay cos heat or moisture breeds the yeast infection.

Those are what I use and it works very well for me.
