Saturday In House Gists -Mobile Phone Addiction...

You have a phone right?

Are you addicted to your Mobile phone?Do you go to bed with our phone off or still on?or you put it on Vibration?

Is it even possible that you can switch off your phone for one hour?
Some people get restless when their phones are off...

Some people cannot sleep with their phones off and take a call or browse even when others are sleeping....

How Addicted are you to your mobile phone and what disadvantages have you suffered from this addiction?Any advantages?

Do you live on your phone?Business, banking, social media all rolled in one you cannot take off your eyes from it or have it go off?

I have five phones and I am not addicted to any...Right now i switched off three and just using two and these two are on silent mode.......There was a time i was addicted to my phones when i was in Nigeria and a prospective Boo whose house i went to spend the night warned me not to use my phones at night and have them switched off,I ignored him and just before bed time i took calls from my plenty phones and this man did not talk to me until he dropped me off the next Morning and that was the last he contacted me and didn't want anything to do with me cos of my phone or cause i disobeyed orders(not sure which pissed him off more)

My addiction to mobile phones was cured when my baby arrived and i needed some peace and quiet to Understand what was happening to me...LMAO

  3. I turn off my phone before bed and turn it on on my way to work. It is also permanently on silent when it’s on because I dislike getting jerked out of whatever I’m doing by a ringtone. If I miss a call, I’d call back.

My plan is to make an effort not to check it first before reading my bible. Once I turn my phone on in the morning, I’m going straight to WhatsApp then Instagram lol makes me angry and I want to stop.

  8. My phone 📱 was like a body part. I have it everywhere I go, and I feel like I never get bored of using it all day, to the point It was affecting my relationships with people .

I decided to delete my social media!! Pick one and delete the rest. I've been off Instagram and FB for over 2 years (some one was Using my pictures to catfish people)and it's been great!
I make my phone inaccessible.it’s just WhatsApp and tabloids now. Now it’s basically In the pocket while driving, in the drawer at work, in the locker at the gym, across the room at night.....

  10. My phone must be on when I'm going to bed just that it will be on vibration mode & on the floor. I can hear any sound when I'm asleep. Let cockroach fly, I will wake up. I leave it on for security reasons. There may be danger in the neighborhood and neighbors may be calling to alert you, if it's off, how will they reach you? So I leave it on.

I used to be so addicted years back but these days...not really. This blog keeps me glued most times.

  11. I am not addicted to my phone at all, I can live without my phone, because I have actually stayed three months or more without a phone before.

I don't receive late calls, so, my phone is always on before I go to bed.

I always leave my phone on my dressing table, quite far away from my bed.

  15. I have never thought of turning my phone off at night maybe because I don’t get many strange hour calls apart from family. I can’t bear the thought of my family trying to reach me cos of an emergency and they can’t. Its almost like an OCDic behaviour.LOL
My phone is permanently on Vibrate mode though.

Once I am busy with work, school etc, I forget I own a phone. I cherish my free few weeks or months in a year cos that is when I am joined to the hip with my phone amongst other things until life interrupts.

  21. I was never really addicted to my phone in the past because of a busy life. Now I am so addicted to my phone because of extreme loneliness!! I find myself checking online or researching every 10 min. When my phone had issues, I thought my life was over, it was so serious I had to beg the repair guy to come to my house on Sunday. I leave my phone on 24/7. When I wake up at night I browse. I take it everywhere I go, my phone is my best friend, I keep a journal on my phone, about everyday.

  28. I noticed in my house that both hubby and myself seldom my talk beyond what do you want to eat even though we are not fighting. I advised myself when I noticed this trend and just deleted FB and would only check my Whatsap messages once in awhile ( I always say when people complain that I do not respond to messages that people have been communicating before the advent of social media). For starters I make sure the moment hubby walks in to the house I gum to him switch attention to hik and his device as he hasn't agreed that he has an addiction to it. Anything he wants to see on his own phone we see it together. Moreover I am one if this people with the habit of rarely picking calls once I am doing house chores or cooking so you are going to have to call my husband to speak to me ..........I always joke that his phone is a business center, even though I don't like it I have come to accept it as the 3rd person in my marriage. I also do not bring my phone into the bedroom as I like to sleep well ......

NB;My people "Radiation" is one of the things that causes cancer and the mobile devices is one of the major culprits. Let's advise ourselves biko. Love you all!

  30. Not addicted to my phone.
There are 2 phones; one main official device that the data and module must not be off. I work round the clock on it.

The 2nd one has 2 sims, I can switch them off and on at will depending on the mood. The batteries never go off though, car charger toh badt.

I'm selfish with browsing hours. I log in at specified time bits. There are too many things to monitor. I no fit shout before home accidents will occur.

You can't reach me? I'll definitely see it because the highest I can go is on Silent mode or Flight mode.

On sleep mode, there's a special pouch for them. Cancer is real.
