I made a split decision, went for interviews here in Abuja (I’m an English teacher), got a teaching job in a cool place and I relocated. If I save 10-15k from a salary every month till I’m 65, that’s a pension too. I don’t know what life has in store for me. But I know I am hopeful and excited.

ANTI SOCIAL MEDIA BEHAVIOUR
Hello Bvs, pls kindly advice.
I Am in my early 30s, graduate(with second class upper ooh) and M.sc holder but my problem is I find it extremely difficult to communicate when in a social gathering.... then talk of addressing audience I will just die inside, you will hear me stuttering, I can even speak out of context, even mention funny words(it is as bad as that).
I have tried personal development(reading of novels, watching news, listening to speeches for where, I can't see any improvement. Please what can I do to master public speaking???... Cos I cant continue like this.
WOW:::This is really bad.It comes from lack of self esteem..build confidence in yourself and try to go out and hang out more..when you lock yourself indoors all the time,this will not go away..hang out with people who make you feel good with yourself for starters....

SACKED FROM CHURCH COMMITTEE
I was given a responsibility in a church here in Lagos to judge an award.. I devoted my time, resources to making sure the award was without flaws. It requires some data collection and all. The format used in calculating the results I formulated it and I do most of the input which means I have to be in every service to make sure I get accurate attendance. I did this joyfully. We presented the first award flawlessly.
My going to church all day, all week was now too much. So I skipped some meetings not really services. In one of the meetings held which i missed I heard much later I've been removed as a judge and someone else appointed because I skipped meetings. I heard it during side talks. To an extent I felt relieved cos it was really tasking, computing and analysing which keeps me up most nights.
Now the thing is since I've been removed, up until that time I was still collecting data, so since I'm no longer in the group I jejely stopped with the analysis. The new judge might find it really difficult finding his way with the records and formats used in judging. I know how hard it was in the first award to get everything together and now he's just coming in with no up-to date data.
I'm thinking should I still on the side be in the group to guide them making things easy for them or just go mute since they harshly removed me without even informing me.

LIFE'S UNCERTAINTY....
One notable thing about life existence is that nothing is guaranteed, and while at that, it is also known that nothing last forever on this planet earth. So many times I have heard and seen young people murdered in cold blood, I watched dreams fade away and saw depression hit heavily on people, that some end up taking their own lives. What a world!!!.
In life, we sometimes wish things were managed better to achieve desired outcomes.
Life is a journey of endless voyage and the unknowns, where dreams may never come true and hopes may fade away.
If there were things I dreaded so much while growing up, I think one among such things is the feeling of uncertainty. When I lost my dad it was just like a dream to me. Yes I know such a time will come someday but I wasn't prepared at such moment to have received such a sad news. It was a defining moment for me as I understand that life won't always give us what we want. Sometimes it could be beautiful and another time it is cruel.
If life is this simple, that we live on uncertainty about the future, then it will be right to ask this questions; Why then the fight for supremacy? Why the hatred, betrayals and condemnation? So much greed and inordinate ambition that we forgot that life is full of surprises. A rich man today can become poor overnight so also can a poor man turn rich suddenly.
Taking tomorrow for granted because you know it will surely come. What if tomorrow finally comes and you aren't there anymore? Tomorrow is never guaranteed to anyone to stay alive, you may be greeted good night today and goodbye the next morning. No one knows when they will leave this mortal body, won't it be nice we live at peace with others in tolerance? Don't we wish to be reckon for the good deed we did when we must have gone beyond?
Until we understand that the value of life lies not in the length of days one live on earth but on the good use he makes of them, for one may live long and get few or nothing from life then the better we will try to live right.

Like who uses harsh words on new born?
Your baby is pretty, I have always said that to you.
I arrived from the UK after a 9 months stay, it was rough for me but I didn't mind, went to you to greet you and husband,i was open about myself and my journey because it took a lot, medical bills and removing my fibroid,kept my destination quiet.cos my caretaker told me she always confront men who work in the HSE to ask if its them that is my husband (3 people) I told the guy to ignore,you went and made enquiries about me and d address I gave you, thank God I did a lot for my parents back home, suddenly chick became somewhat hostile to me,I kept quite, was wondering what I did wrong but ignored cos God blessed me beyond my wildest imagination.
I was asked to abort my baby at 3months cos of medical issue,was told if she or he makes it,there might be complications.I refused,held on to God and loads of drugs, she came out in perfect health and so pretty ( according to every soul that has set eyes on her).
Babe started avoiding me o, then a nasty rumour that am so broke I can't feed my child broke out.why? Because I refused to pay for what they spoilt in d compound before I came back.
This people carry my matter for head,she matched to my flat to ask why my baby was crying so much the night before,was it because i cant afford food for her?my God!
I was shocked at the extent this chic can go to PULL MY SPIRIT DOWN.I ignored as usual,few days ago I saw her looking somehow, asked if she was OK,she really looked funny.
Because of her attitude,I stopped opening my door to let her in but that day I allowed her( she go enter use eye dey scan everywhere),she poured her heart out, she has taken in and kind of didn't want it,then she said she had a terrible journey before,and after her 1st preggy.i told her to calm down,if is not Gods will it won't have happened.
Her main concern was she just changed jobs( that's where the 600/80k story came from) I listened and it didn't make sense with all the stupid office tale from her other place. Anyways I wished her well, used a broom and swept her legs out of my house as she left.
Let me sound it here for people,if you are not pretty or beautiful, please have a good and God fearing character at least! Fine you no fine,yet you beef beautiful people and backbite with the biz woman in the compound. Its sad! Wear a good character like a 2nd skin,people will hardly notice the physical appearance.

I always have pimples on my face,the few products I've used end up breaking me out.
I sometimes have pimples on my chest and back also.
Been hearing how good K brothers soap works well for the skin and that it clears acne but not sure weda it bleaches or not cos na so so whitening and lightening them dey write on the pack.I'm already fair and don't want to be fairer.
And what face cream can you suggest also,using my body cream on the face breaks me out.

Hi Ace, the issue here is that you have super sensitive skin so you have to switch focus from inexpensive brands to sensitive skin friendly brands.
DeleteYou need to totally avoid oil based foundations and use water based foundations as the former would break you out.
I will advice you to avoid cheap, unpopular brands have not been tested to be sensitive skin friendly.
Some readily available water based foundations I can recommend are Maybelline Fit me Poreless matiffying foundation, Revlon colourstay, lóreal infallible matte maybelline super stay, clinique acne solutions liquid makeup.Most of the foundations are above 5k but all less than 10k . However, they wont break you out.
For powder , some oily skin friendly brands are : Lóreal infallible pro matte powder,colorpop pressed matte powder, revlon color stay matte powser, cover girl pressed powder.
As a rule never go to bed with make up or dirt on your face and use an astringent before bed. Have you tried black soap?
For skin care, Neutrogena is a tested and trusted anti acne brand, clinique, olay.
Don't where use K brothers, it's useless. It gave me red patches and I discontinued using it.

Delete@Ace, just like slay queen said neutrogena is good but in case you can't get it but EXTRACT PAPAYA SOAP. It is made in the Philippines and it's natural. I've been using it and I love the outcome. Mind you, I have acne prone and sensitive face just like yours and I'm fair too.
As for foundations,please STICK TO RSQ ADVICE, don't even buy cheap foundations, because it will end up breaking you out. I use Mary Kay timewise, it's sold for 6k.it's water based. As for powder, I know one that is good and cheap that won't break you out. LA PRIDE, it's sold for #600.If you're fair buy the one written LIGHT on it, trust me,It's okay,I use it or you buy original St Michael powder for #1300.
