The Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu, reportedly failed to participate in the mandatory National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC), despite graduating from the then University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) at age 25...
Months of discreet checks at the NYSC headquarters showed that Shittu did not present himself for service after graduation and is yet to do so till date.
When contacted, Shittu admitted that he did not serve, but claimed he thought his first political post after graduation could suffice as national service, a claim lawyers and NYSC insiders consider as ludicrous and untenable.
“The constitution provides for the qualification needed for state assembly members, NYSC is not there. I didn’t need it to become a member of the state assembly, and that is already a service,” he said.
Skipping the compulsory national service is an offence under the NYSC law, punishable with up to 12 months imprisonment.

ReplyDeleteBiko as people are saying he should do the needful, cant we also urge the Mr President to show us his Waec.
ReplyDeleteStella don't I just love you? You are a sweet darling you know, dishing it hot as it is hahahaha. I fear who no fear you. Another drama loading. A test of integrity to be seen again. We are keenly watching with interest. Truth is that majority of them in ministerial appointment has this problem and gradually it will be coming out to light and I hope the ones yet to be identified won't bribe the NYSC to cover their shit.
ReplyDeleteGo straight to your point and stop this irritating ass lickingđđđđ
DeleteAre you blind to see the point I made lady bug? All the comment I have been making on this blog, are any of yours closer to it? Is it your ass licking? Is it wrong for me to say I love Stella? When your blog bestie do that on the blog, do you call them ass licker? Always pained about me. That will be your burden on this blog till you leave this earth.
DeleteStella my love... You are a darling. Love you so much.
This one pass ass licking. For your mind now, you think say you be burden for people? With the kind of grammar and sentence constructions? Anyway, how can you prove that MAJORITY of the ministers have THE SAME PROBLEM? You talk as if you already have the know other than your usual fallacy of bombastic claim or frequent generalization with no proofs.
DeleteMake you no go love your girlfriend. Stay there de tell person wife say you love her. Oriegwu
Teejay, please give us the names of MAJORITY of the ministers you claim have the same NYSC problem. Please, do not pretend that you didn’t read this. You commented above that the TRUTH IS THAT MAJORITY. Please, provide their names since you know it is the truth and that they are in the majority. If you don’t, it means you have made another false claim like your usual false claims. Please provide ten names out of over 30 ministers that we have. Don’t come up with story telling. Just ten names.
DeleteIt is several hours since the anonymous asked Teejay to provide names to back up his claim but he cannot. He will pretend as if he didn’t see the comment. This is the problem with false claim. You can’t back it up. Just provide ten names since you claim you have truth about the majority of the ministers not having served.
DeleteHahahahahahahaa....just resign sir.
ReplyDeleteSo many people don't know the importance of serving...
ReplyDeleteNow he will be biting his fingers
At least na NYSC certificate dey no get, what about Buhari that does not have WAEC certificate? He should equally resign.
ReplyDeleteHe already procured a court injunction on that issue restraining his impeachment with over forty SANs he went to over a case like that.
DeleteYou are a liar Teejay. There was no procured court injunction restraining any impeachment exercise. Stop being childish, petty and making public false claim. A person went to court to put up a case. It is the right of the defendant to get lawyers to challenge such case. Which the president did. Even Evans get lawyers for his defence. There are enough proofs already to know that the result claim was more political starting in the past administration to put down the president. If it was true, the past administration would have been successful by bringing him down before and after the election. But people like you are still dumb and ignorant to not follow up on news or have proper historical information on the details on this. No wonder you can’t even differentiate a basic court case, hence you lying that he procured court injunction to avoid impeachment. When was that, you liar? Stop making false claim. Ask the person who went to court why he discontinued instead of lying.
DeleteThis is not true Mr Teejay. The president didn’t go to court. Rather, he was taken to court. So it is incorrect to say he procured court injunction to restrain any kind of impeachment move. How can you procure that when you didn’t take yourself to court? You are abusing court process by misinterpretation. You don’t have to put out wrong assumptions just because you don’t like the president. Such kind of information is completely false. And according to rule of law, if you are taken to court, it is your prerogative to get lawyer for yourself to challenge any charges brought up against you. And I don’t see anything wrong in what the president did. The number of lawyers you hire for your defence team doesn’t matter. It is about your money and case strength. Please check your information before commenting.
DeleteTeejay can’t make bold his false argument here. Thank you anonymous
DeleteThe Ministers under this Regime do not like NYSC at all.
ReplyDeleteMake I go post my NYSC pix for Instagram, I might need it one day.
đđ
DeleteI don't get it....how do they get into such positions?
ReplyDeleteDon't they present necessary certificates?
Is the requirement for holding political positions just the buying of forms?
This is getting embarrassing!!!
Please resign as soon as possible and save yourself from further embarrassment.
ReplyDeleteTo serve isn't by force.
People like us who served won't even get a decent job..
God please this state of joblessness is getting to me...
All I typed just wiped off.
ReplyDeleteStella, we are yet to see embarrassment. What is the qualification of PMB?. Abeg I don tire to read all these. A country where we have the very wrong people at wrong places. A country where the minister of Agriculture read French. Minister of Power is a lawyer and Nigerians are expecting miracles to happen. We have seen nothing yet. Let them bring it on... Its election time. Everything is possible.
I still dont believe any of them attended university.
