Former Senate President David Mark Joins 2019 Presidential Race...

A former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark, has declared his intention to contest for the Presidential election under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in 2019.





He picked his Presidential nomination form on Tuesday at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja.


Mark was President of the Senate for eight years between 2007 and 2015.

  1. At the very end, it will be a contest between Atiku and Kwankwaso. I strongly believe Atiku will have the day, for he has the Southern votes more than Kwankwaso who is still being seen as an Islamic fanatic and also an ethnic bigot.

    1. Yes o Queen. When I went to ikotun to visit a colleague I saw Rev King poster. The man don fat finish. Seems prison life is good for him. His poster is full in ikotun

  7. David Mark is a comedian, A clown that thinks Nigeria is a joke. David Mark that sees the senate as his retirement plan is contesting for presidency. A man that when fulani herdsmen descended on Benue state he became deaf and dumb.
    Anyway his strategy is to go into negotiation for either a ministerial appointment if PDP wins or SSA.

  10. I think it’s high time new candidates come out. We don’t need all these recycled politicians. I really don’t care about party but I care about the individual coming out and that is how I intend to vote. I don’t vote for party but the candidate. New people should come up as nominees in this election, especially in the other positions: governorship , House of Rep. to even LG Chairmanship. Make we test them and see how they will deliver. We need that change now.
