    1. Idayat Hassan, CDD Director, in a cursing proclamation, bemoaned that the lead of some key stakeholders plainly ran in opposition to popularity based standards and benchmarks, and best practices in the lead of trustworthy elections.#

      The CDD's full statement reads:

“CDD observers reported several cases of denial of access to Polling Units to observers, and even voters. CDD field observers deployed to observe the process and ensure its credibility, especially in Orolu and Osogbo LGAs, were intimidated, threatened and in some cases arrested by security forces.
"Credible reports from our field observers showed that despite being duly accredited by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), several of the observers and journalists were stopped from observing the process "CDD observers reported palpable tension in Ifon, Orolu LGAs due to the high-handed conduct of the security agents who seemed bent to sway the vote the way of certain partisan interests

  5. Tonye Cole can't govern Rivers state NOW! Infact he has done himself a disservice joining politics. He should have remained with Sahara energy. Dumo lulu Briggs..... nah forget it. Nge Abe, forget it, its the turn of the Riverine area, Amaechi 8years, Wike 8years, The gubernatorial post will move to the kalabaris. After the tenor of Mr Project.

Pat Utomi.... forget it. Stick with LBS. Ifeanyi Okuwa is an apology. Great Ogboru forget it. Ibori.... Isoko...8years. Emmanuel..... 8years, its the turn of an Ijaw man.

    1. Get your facts right. Ivory is Urhobo 8yrs (delta central) Uduagha 8yrs (delta South) Okowa(Delta North). They should allow the north collect their 8yrs. Yes Okowa is an apology.

    2. Ibori isn't Isoko. Everything else you said is fine.

    3. The turn of the Riverine, when the Ogonis have never had a governor. Presently, the Riverine areas cannot win anything in that state except it is given to them... that's just the fact. The upland owns the numbers and the clout.
Tonye Cole is a weak candidate to present against Wike and it's unfortunate Abe will not sail through tho. He's possibly the strongest opposition player there.
The two frenemies know the game they're playing tho

    4. Who told you riverine people have no clout. What are you saying. Kalabari after wike Every one knows. Every one should consolidate and stop all these numbers nonsense.

  8. All these states that have 21 candidates. Haba! So all of them picked up that nomination form for that amount? Money dey this country oh.
Btw, Tonye Cole is a focused man. He will definitely work in that state that I am sure of. That state needs an overhaul cos Rivers state has lost its glory. It’s high time bright minds come in and set it back to its right place.
I have my trust in him though. I hope he makes it through cos we need Rivers state to be great again.
I am really happy new candidates are coming out for this election. Let’s give them a chance.

*I will vote for the candidate and not the party cos I don’t belong to any party*

  14. When it comes to politics I don't trust anyone. Forget about their academic qualifications, experiences. Immediately they're elected they begin to bow to corruption.

Remember many of them came under the influence of godfatherism. If you want to know a good candidate look at his track record, godfather and character.

Kenneth Okonkwo thing say e dey easy to b governor, for where? Na PA to d governor e go be last last. Na only u Waka come.
