“As at the time I shot my last YouTube video, I had no idea I would be winning the AMVCA. A lot of my friends have been at me for my speech moment at the AMVCA. Enough of it because you’ll never know how it feels until you walk up on that stage and millions of thoughts start flooding through your head and you start saying ‘Ah baba God my dress, my speech, oh I cannot fall o’. Then all of a sudden you go up the stage and you see a sea of heads and you go blank. You can’t even express yourself, you’re overwhelmed. I just want to thank God, my publicist and my friends. I want to thank everybody that supported my movie, ‘Bound’.
Thank you so much, God bless you, thank you for riding with me, I love you all so much”, she said.
*Awwww she had stage fright, nothing to worry about na...
It happens and I guess she didn't believe she will win!
ReplyDeleteBit she knows she was nominated at least she would have "worn cloth" instead of going to AMVCA naked
DeleteAlright
ReplyDeleteYou are very gorgeous. Stage fright can happen to anyone. So chill, no biggy
ReplyDeleteThose insulting her are just stupid. She isn't used to facing crowd...in fact not everyone is used to that...I used to be like that bfor not until I read Dale Carnegie's book "The art of public speaking " years back. Now I can stand before kings and queens and deliver a speech, prepared or not...stage fright absent.
ReplyDeleteApart from stage fright, crying is a confidence booster. If u win an award & don't know what to say, just cry for about 2secs & mumble d word 'thank you' shikena.
ReplyDeleteBaby girl you don't owe us an explanation its not your fault u are clearly a newbie to this, you will do better next time
