She said, “Her absence hasn’t really been easy. We’ve been together for 17 years before she had to go to university. Letting her go is very emotional for me. I still miss her a lot. She’s a big girl now and she’s starting her own journey in life. I have brought her up well; I have inculcated the values I want her to live by in her. I have given her the foundation and I wish her the best. She’s always in my prayers. It’s just painful that after university, she’ll probably get married.”
Sharing tips on her beauty regimen, Aigbe said, “I try to live a healthy lifestyle. I try as much as possible to stay away from fatty foods and I drink lots of water. I eat a lot of vegetables and fruits. I know this may sound clichΓ© but that is how I’ve been able to look younger than my age. I also exercise when I have the time to because I’m not able to do that as much as I would have liked because of busy schedule. Anytime I’m free, I jump on the treadmill and burn some calories.”
On her current projects, Aigbe said, “I’m presently working on a Yoruba movie and it would be out soon. It is titled 77 Bullets. From the title, you should be able to picture what you would see in the movie. I will be taking it to the cinema and I am 100 per cent certain that people will like it. Some of the actors in the movie include Yinka Quadri, Abimbola Ogunnowo and lots of A-list actors; it’s a star-studded movie. I have also done a lot of other jobs with other colleagues. Asides movies, I’m also a fashion entrepreneur and I’ve done a lot in that regard. My daughter recently launched a make-up line and we’ve been doing a lot of work on it.

ReplyDeleteAnyone wey think say na acting in Nollywood these people dey carry pay abroad school fees suppose go US and UK school websites check fees for international students come check wetin these actresses earn in Naira.
ReplyDeleteWe sabi wetin dey. Them dey work hard, hard, harder and harder indeed!
harder, harder, harder, hahahahahahahahah
DeleteSome have businesses and even make more from those businesses. Not denying some are into runs but there are ladies doing well without runs.
DeleteSome it's also family money. I don't earn major. I earn like 200k but people are surprised how I live. Apartment in lekki, drive an LR4,travelling yearly etc. They feel I'm into runs. But I have investments and get millions in rent yearly from my late father's estate.
Lisa omoriodion for example iv known her since corona school. Her father is rich and has invested in her movies but an average person takes her as a runs girl meanwhile I know the small boy she is following.
I know nothing about Mercy though.
She try o. I can't send my child abroad alone at 17. I will relocate to join them
ReplyDeleteMe too o!
DeleteWill you also stay inside the school to see her?
DeletePoverty mentality.
DeleteBut you can send her to school in the north where boko haram/fulani herdsmen can strike. Or east and south west wey be say na so so cult and black axe and Aiye fraternity dey rush them.
Abroad schooling is much safer for the child and such kids will be coming home yearly for holiday and you can visit them on any of your travels.
How poverty mentality enter this gist now?
