Zamfara State Government has declared Friday, September 1, as work free day to enable eligible voters obtain their Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs.
The government has also announced reduction in work hours for its workers from 4pm to 12noon on Wednesday and Thursday.
The deputy governor, Ibrahim Wakkala, made the announcement on Tuesday in Gusau. Wakkala spoke during a stakeholders meeting on the deadline for the ongoing continuous voter registration.
He explained that the decision was to encourage those that were yet to obtain their PVC to do so before the deadline of September 1.

Our South South people won't do this o. If a northerners win now they will say it's rigging.
Ur very right...I heard on radio that the states that has the lowest no of people who haven't gotten their PVC's are northern states...Lagos state ranks d highest
