DeleteSally dont mind Nigerians o.. I have practically asked all the people I know as doctor or nurse and they said its not possible to carry pregnancy for that long.

DeleteStop saying things you don't know about. I personally witnessed one f about 8 years and she finally gave birth to twins but lost one. That's why there's a word called mystery and another miracle

ReplyDeleteIts called Cryptic Pregnancy. Google it. Some have been known to last even 10years. It takes time to develop and even get in a scan.

DeleteIs cryptic pregnancy not when PT and blood test are all negative and the woman may not even be aware she's pregnant until she goes into Labour. I may be wrong but iv watched smthn similar.

Cryptic pregnancy or not, no pregnancy lasts 10years biko...anything more than that ain't a pregnancy.
DeleteI stumbled upon a shoddy website with so much vagueness on this and I could only shake my head seeing claims that the baby will develop at a snail pace because of the lack of hormones or hormonal imbalance therefore causing the pregnancy to last from 3years to 7 years!
Pregnancy is usually 38-40 weeks, if it gets to 42 weeks then the doctors swing into action so this 4 years pregnancy is not possible.
She must have had fibroids... she should tell her people who the father of this child is, except her husband had intercourse with her 9-10 months ago, this is not his child

ReplyDeleteFact is :this is cryptic pregnacy ,which happens to women all over the world. The reason women in Africa tend to carry theirs for much longer is simple-IGNORANCE. Because they think its spiritual they get on activities that stress their bodies even more,thereby denying the foetus adequate food intake,subsequently slowing down the foetus development and growth,not until the baby is well formed and developed he/she CANT come out.In the developed world once cryptic is diagnozied,the mother is given extra care. Some whites deliver their crptic babies at 52weeks,some at 11 months. So yes its possible to carry that pregnancy for 4-5years if the mother isnt well taken care of.

DeleteI really believe this story because my aunt also had same issue,pregnant for 4 years and some months.i followed her for scan and check up twice.and the doctor saw nothing but she always feels baby movement.Long story short it was a prophetess passing by our house one day that prayed for her with just Psalms and water and she gave birth to twin boys.The naming ceremony wasn't here like the party ran through the night till the next morning with crowds.Like God is the ultimate but there are spiritual powers oh!!May God shield us.

DeleteHmmh..I think there are spiritual manipulations. But I haven't seen anybody carry pregnancy for that long and my knowledge of science just won't let me believe this story.
