Viral -Footballers Retiring From International Football...

What is going on with international Football Worldwide?






I just noticed that so many Football stars have been handing in their retirement notices during and after the last World cup in Russia....

Is this a normal trend or is something wrong?or are they acting on Doctor's advice?

    i guess their club side pay them better than their country. Because i don't hear them saying they are retiring from their club side.

    Stella it's normal nah...after every worls cup, some footballers must definitely retire, especially those that know they might not make it for the next worldcup.

    It's also good so that other talents can be harnessed.

    Some also retire as a result of problems in the national team or F.A just like what is happening in Nigeria now.

    I don't think it is an issue. The players retiring now are those who want to give their full attention to their club side rather than being called every now and then for continental qualifiers. Many of them go come back before next WC
