Tinubu Blows Hot Over Plot To Impeach President Buhari -Says A Lizard Cannot Wrestle An Antelope

Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has alleged that some members of the National Assembly were planning to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari.

Tinubu said this on Wednesday at the formal defection of ex-senate Minority Leader, Sen. Godswill Akpabio, at the Ikot Ekpene township stadium in Akwa Ibom.

NAN reports that he warned the plotters to drop their sinister move because it is not “possible for a lizard to wrestle an antelope’’.

He described what was happening in the country now as a war between progressives and the conservatives.

“We believe in government of the people, for the people and by the people but the conservatives believe in government of sharing. We say Nigerian money belongs to Nigerians. We say Nigerians must be given development. We believe in investing in the people. But they believe in sharing and looting the money.
Today we are aspiring in our vision, but the PDP has no vision. They believe in sharing and looting the treasury,’’

Nigerians, he said, gave PDP 16 years to rule but the party failed.

“Today, Buhari says we must change; we must account for Nigeria’s money but they are resisting,’’ he added.

He expressed happiness that Akwa Ibom had embraced the change of Buhari.

Quoting the Bible, Tinubu, a Muslim said: “The people in the city shall be swept away with brooms.’’

  2. Rant of a man who after being accused of keeping silence over this whole brouhaha is trying to find his ground and voice. That Bible you quote Mr Tinubu should have also made you to understand that a little David killed a mighty Goliath. So your illustration of lizard and antelope is nonsensical on the situation on ground. Power comes from God, and if your President have been rejected by God then he is bound to fail.

    1. He is not from Kwara. He is a Biafran. He doesn't like anything Hausa that's why he sounds this way, always spewing ethnic and religious sentiment in the name of commenting on politics. For him, he is just all for supporting anything and anyone that is against Buhari even if the person doesn't have the good interest of Nigerians at heart

    2. And you are hausa right? A typical hausa man will never reason like you do here.I stay in kano and from your comments here you are just one of those blind thinkers chanting Buhari is a saint. Just read the hate you spewed above. Person no mention saraki see how you twist it. I don't know saraki but the truth is even some hausa people silently admire him. Saraki is an elephant who even if killed the ants won't be able to drag his corpse. Change and stop making politics religion and tribal war. These politicians don't give a shit about you.

  4. Is the plan to replace Osinbajo with Remmy? We are watching closely. The newly ordained RCCG Assistant Pastor who was publicly an Alhaja? I’m I the only one who remembers the current VP signing something in someone’s house with mr and Mrs looking on before PMB announced his VP? Does anyone else remember that picture?

Nigeria is in God’s hands. If you can’t be VP your wife can be ordained like the current one and be there by proxy. I hope I’m wrong. I pray I’m wrong. There is a game of musical chairs in governing the country. The same set of people are being recycled. God I want to be wrong on this. This woman should not replace this guy just because she married a power hungry guy who doesn’t care about the masses.

    2. Intelligent write up! You just penned my thoughts. If i had written this SDK wont post. She swallows my comments because it gives her joy....

If Nigerians swallow that stupid farce of an Alhaja being a pastor then i will give up totally on this country. This politicians have ended up in dividing this country down tribal and religious differences. Instigating one tribe against another and one religion against another. Since they left Alausa this woman just siddon for senate, she hasn't passed any bill, she has done nothing for her constituency. What they stole and is still stealing from Lagos state can sustain their generations up till the 4th.

We are watching! God Almighty will have mercy and just as he visited the Egyptians of old, He will visit Nigeria. Enough is Enough... People are hungry, nothing is working. Lawlessness is the order of the day. I watched Akpabio yesterday and his end is here, someone who killed my friend's father and hung it on the neck of the murdered man's son. Akpabio the slain spirit of Engr Ukpanan will haunt you.

  5. Tinubu and you all from APC, if you're a man or people of integrity, try answering this question. 2011 inec spent 83billion for the election and in 2015 spent 93billion(All induring PDP years) but for 2019 budgeted 272.4bilion (almost 300% increase). please why such an enormous and astronomical increase since it's same technologies and equipments that are on ground since last election that will be used for this coming election. My question also as all Nigerians are asking, Where are all these monies going to, Is it for equipment which is already on available or for what?. Let's get your response for this weighty question. Mind you I'm never a fun of APC or PDP, I'm a concerned Nigerian.

  7. 16 years of pdp misrule and in 8 years out of that 16, Akpabio was governor under the same pdp. Today you ask people to support him because pdp for 16 years was bad. Are you not stupid? A staunch pdp governor and executor.

    1. God bless you. They always shout PDP misruled for 16years and I asked who were the PDP for those periods. Where was El Rufai? Ameachi, Orji Uzor, Akpabio and co.

    2. Honestly they are all daft.
Teejah you make sense here though. All these names you mentioned were pdp staunch leaders, today they are in APC and their sins forgotten.
Who's fooling who? Recycling the same set of wolves.

  9. All those mouthing off and complaining, what exactly have you done to change things? Forget all this Politicians, let us talk about me and you! The multiplier effects of "love your neighbor as yourself" transcends beyond race, colour, tribe and Nationality! Among "us" (Nigerian s) no need pretending, there is no love! Yorubas back bites and wish each other bad, same with Igbos, same with Hausas or any other tribe.
If you look out for your neighbor within ur compound and vice versa, this country and by large this world would be a better place. Everybody is guilty of all these, especially GREED!
Don't blame the politicians, all those coming on here to shout A.P.C or PDP or worse name droppings will most likely do worse when or if they are in a seat of authority.
Applying for Soki with different names or handle is the same as Tinubu, Uzor Kalu, Atiku, and Amechi. Na the level dey different.
If you really passionate about changing things in this country, start with ur neighborhood!
Passionate and sound people that wants to change things don't get to seat of authority cos We will not vote them in! If by stroke of luck or divine intervention they get there, they are not appreciated cos we won't let them make the effective change!.
