Before you start commenting on whatever someone may be going through, have the sense to put yourself in that person’s shoes. Empathy is key. Be aware, be sensitive to others’ feelings, needs and concerns. Remember, life is not always about me, myself and I, also The trouble with us today is we love to pick on people, jump on their failures & criticize their faults. At this point,I don't think we need preach forgiveness because he needs to be left alone so he can decide on what to do..though am an advocator for forgiveness but this issue is too messy that, if he finally forgives this woman,he will never forget and issue may arise along the line,provided both still stay together as husband and wife. Also,do not forget that,the child in question is an integral part of you(Husband) so,do everything to make sure you train up the child the way you have been doing ever since,do not be disturbed about what has happened because the child is so innocent..

As for the kids, he should continue to love them, carter for them and remain their parent.
The first kid deserve to know who her biological father is when the time comes. So, the woman should start working hard on how she will remember things and find the kid's biological father.
I will be going to church today after a long while but it will be evening mass.
May God not give us the burden That we won't be able to carry. May He guide our thoughts and actions and may we live a life worthy of emulating.

Are we now under Judaism? Respectfully, you are quoting those portions out of context. Read the teachings of Jesus on marriage, divorce and remarriage. It was so difficult to the disciples that the Bible said that they complained that ‘it is better not to even marry - Matt 19
DeletePut that side by side Jesus’ teaching on forgivesness and you will not be quoting the Old Testament which we are told ‘has been put away for its imperfections’ (read the whole of Hebrews to understand the place of the Old Testament in Christian Era)
Finally, read the teachings of Apostle Paul on a man divorcing his wife and a woman leaving her husband. Note that he says they both either remain unmarried or reconcile.. put that side by side Jesus’ teaching and the Holy Spirit will lead you to God’s mind on the issue.
1. We are all sinners and cannot lay claim to righteousness. Hence, we have to forgive others who sin against us (just as our Heavenly Father forgives us)
2. Our forgiving shows our stand with God and understanding of His will for us. It keeps us in His grace
3. Is adultery a sin that cannot be forgiven? Nope! Jesus showed an example by forgoing the adulterous woman.
4. If you refuse to forgive, then you and her become the same before God - by virtue of your sins . Her - adultery, You- in forgiveness (hardness of heart ( Jesus even used the term to refer to the Israelites and how the whole divorce thing started and how it was ‘permiaaible’ And not God’s will)
5. If you put all these together, you’d see that even though Jesus stated that you can divorce if your partner cheats, his message did not endorse it instead his teaching was to forgive.
6. Finally, Christ called us to peace. Paul talks about this in 1 Cor 7. He called us to peace so where your being together doesn’t make for peace. You can let each other go but you CANNOT remarry. Remember, Paul said it is a mystery. He is talking about Christ and the Church being likened to the spiritual union of a man and a woman.
These are not easy teachings. But a Christian should always strive to live in God’s perfect Will. It is a scriptural exposition that millions haven’t lent their minds to. Not even churches. That is why I tell people to learn of God!

Note you can’t be righteous with i forgiveness in your heart.

This is just a little spiritual insight, for those who may be interested. Marriage is not to be taken lightly, God doesn’t take it lightly. Be careful of the circumstances that makes you separate. Always keep one thing in mind. God called us to peace. Blessings!!

@ Bv Meena, you seem like a serious young lady, don’t know if you saw this yesterday as I posted late, but this is my advise to you since you asked.
ReplyDeleteIf you are learning proper pattern making buy/photocopy the textbooks.
Ask questions, learn to take measurements the right way, if your measurements are off no matter how good you draft your pattern you will have adjustment issues.
Practice what you’re taught at school, and make sure you do all your assignments.
As soon as possible learn to sew out your assignment in somebody else’s measurement, that way you’re not just working with your body that you’re used to. So that you learn from whatever mistake you make.
Also, now that you’re getting proper guidance Pinterest, and YouTube should be your friend. What ever sewing technique you’re looking for, or you’re taught but it seems hard to learn, check these two places you may find simpler methods of doing them.
Be curious, there are no rules set in stone...be adventurous enough to take on difficult projects because what you will learn from them will be invaluable..,and to wrap it up, please iron your projects as you sew, and pay attention to your finishing techniques.

My neighbor gave birth to a very pretty baby geh. Not that igala witch that killed my cat oooh, this once are Igbo's. Omg!! When I say the baby is pretty she is pretty as in P R E T T Y. Guess what guys? They named the beautiful baby Chidebere Stephanie Udeze argh I nearly collapse with joy. I haven't been able to sleep due to joy. I have been with them since 6 am just holding,smelling and kissing Gods beautiful creation.

ReplyDeleteRead this. These moms came to pick up their ward from sch, these kids shouldn't be more than five. They met them all dirty and they reacted differently, one told her daughter that she will wash the cloths herself. Then they turned to leave and the on screen tv in the lobby came on showing each child as the student of the day.
ReplyDeleteTurned out the reason they got dirty was because they went to help out an elderly man whose wheelbarrow he used in convening potted flowers broke down in the mud, as he struggled, these kids one at a time walked into the mud and helped him carry the vase to dry land. Because they were so little and the pot big, they clutched it tight to their chest and in the process got all muddied up, the old man afterwards tried to clean them up as much as he can.
At that point, all the moms were crying and hugging their kids even the one that refused to touch her daughter because of how dirty she was and the one that her with doing the laundry herself. Hell i was teary, then i got to the end of the clip, and it turned out it was actually an ad for detergent! and I'm like no way, i want my tears back, how can they toy with someones emotion like that!
