“Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to John (John 6:60-69)
At that time: Many of the disciples of Jesus said, “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?” But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples murmured at it, said to them, “Do you take offence at this? Then what if you were to see the Son of man ascending where he was before? It is the Spirit that gives life, the flesh is of no avail; the words that I have spoken to you are Spirit and life. But there are some of you that do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the first who those were that did not believe, and who it was that would betray him. And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.” After this many of his disciples drew back and no longer walked with him. Jesus said to the Twelve, “Will you also go away?” Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life; and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.”

    The Gospel of the Lord.

  3. I saw a generator being chained to the rod on the window  inside a police station I visited yesterday and I imagined so even here too isn't safe? So funny but that is one ironical aspect of life that the people we sought their protection also need protection as well.

The same yesterday, a group of police men chased a man riding on a new brand Lexus jeep. I don't know if it was as a result of they saw the jeep was so new and had assumed he must be a kidnapper, arm robber or yahoo man.

Finally he was stopped and pulled over. Every documents of him was complete and they asked after his business and he gave them every information they needed. When they ran out of questionnaire, they came up with their usual antics to extort money from him. "Why were you speeding"? Do you know we could have shoot you or you may have hit someone?  Oya do something for sending wrong signal to us by over speeding.  A charge has been established. Finally he was forced to give them money as they threatened to take him to their station.

This is Naija where everyone living successfully is allegedly assumed and seen as criminals by the police.

Please you dont know how it feels to lose a loved one, or to be raped or robbed or any other hurt. One can never know how another may feel. You may have a similar loss but it does not relate to the uniqueness of the individual relationship.

The sweet cat suffered serious pains before giving up the ghost in a veterinary hospital. A service of songs and grand burial was held in its honour by the bv's friends and relatives. He said what of foreplay, etc.. I told him no. To say I was surprised is an understatement. The way he was talking, you will know he is this well experienced guy who can't do without it . He said he wants us to both understand our urges and turn ons before marriage. He is very involved in Church activities, a worker and all that. I really was not expecting that at all from him. After all the talking, he said he can deal with no foreplay or sex for a year or two? Hmm.. Indeed. Can a man who is used to having sex everytime hold body or he is probably bidding time for me?

  36. Didn't feel like going to Church today at all. Told myself I was not going. Then I listened to Nathaniel Bassey's song and I realised I needed to be in the presence of God this morning and shame the devil . It's good to rejoice in the presence of God. Happy Sunday my beautiful people .May we all have enough reasons to celebrate before this week runs out in Jesus name, Amen.
