I feel men are not equal to women, neither are women equal to men. Why? Because our roles are different. We play different roles so how can we be equal? A man can never be equal to a woman in the area of child birth and taking care of the kids. A woman can never be equal to a man in the area of providing for the family. These different roles comes as a result of how God created us and socialisation (there might be other factors).
Having this different roles does not in any way mean one gender is superior to another. A wife is not her hubby's slave neither is a man his wife's atm machine. Both gender can offer support in the roles that is not majorly theirs. Men assist your wives in domestic chores, women assist your husbands in financial running of the home. When you do this, there is a balance and no gender will feel cheated.
There is something called action-reaction. The way you act towards your spouse will determine his/her reaction towards you.
If you are a selfish chavanistic cassanova, your wife's reaction will be likewise. If you are a greedy polygamist your wives reaction will be like wise...hmm topic for another day.
Men and women can never be equal in terms of roles they play,the creator wasn't foolish for making it that way,I don't even have strength for all these feminism stuff.
